Setting up DVC account?

just got a letter from dvc with membership number for my recent purchase. I've tried to set up a new account but it doesn't like the member id I enter and requires an activation code ... Which I don't have. What should I do?

They will be mailing that in a second letter or you could call member administration (an option on the phone tree) and request the activation number.

Ok thanks. I was thinking I had read here on DIS that they won't talk with me till I'm set up Or something like that.

What they are difficult about is giving your member number but if it's just the activation code for online that shouldn't be an issue. You also can just call MS to make any reservations - no code required.

Try going to the DVC login page and login with your MDE login. Read on another website that this worked for another new resale DVC member.

Call Member Services and select the option for web tech support.
You need your Club ID and one time activation code that the web tech support team can look up for you.

Thanks everyone. I called and got it all straightened out no prob. Just got to call back now to see where my banked points are.

I spoke with DVC Cm. he confirmed its a known issue with their system not showing banked points. He confirmed they are there.
