Still with me? Cool! This day is shorter.

Still just the 2 of us, no kids. ASMo.

We slept in this day and went to Downtown Disney to give to the Mouse everything but our firstborn. We love this place and can spend hours and much money there. We were worried that it would be so busy, being the day after Thanksgiving and all, but for the most part it was nice.

Oh my goodness. It started off in the paper shop, Readin and Ritin, I think it's called. I got a cool photo album that says 2000 on it and comes with black paper and a gold pen. Then the new Park Music CD that has the music from Impressions de France. Then some odds and ends. We moved on to the Home Store. It always has such neat stuff. Got candles and gifts. Then to the Christmas store and LOTS there to buy. We got married over Christmas 4 years ago and love the season. So many neat things! On to the Pooh Store! On to Gourmet Pantry! We have to buy something everywhere we go! We ate at the Gourmet Pantry, myself with potatoe salad and turkey roll ups, the DH with a huge sandwich. Here I go, making myself hungry again! It was some of the best counter service we have had in DD.

By now we have 2 of those bigs sacks you have to buy for $2. I've bought a lot of Christmas gifts so I don't feel so bad. (it's a shame they are all for me!) :-) We saw the huge kaleidoscope they built there and the fountains. Now we really need to move on to the World of Disney!!!!! It was really busy and crowded. We bought a lot, shirts for me and him, more gifts, some PJ's, the Millinium CD wich I listen to constantly. We finally decided to check out and make a break. Thank goodness we had the MKC Card. The CM's let us leave, I guess we had spent enough.

We looked at the Legos store and by this time we were drooping so we left. Didn't evn get to the West Side. Not much there for us. So we went 'home'. I was hungry again, shopping is hard and all, so I got to try the sushi from the food court. Not too bad! Huge California rolls, I could hardly get them into my mouth! Which my loving husband had to make the obvious joke about me having a big mouth. He was the one eating the fattening french fries!

Another aside if you will permit me, we are not overeaters, we just love good food. I am usually on a strict low fat diet for some heath problems, and Seth tries to support me and not eat fried foods in front of me. He even swears he has given up most fried foods. But sometimes he backslides and tortures me with french fries or sweet and sour chicken.

OK, that's enough. After lunch we found out that ASMo does not deliver to your room anymore, you have to go to the front desk and pick up your packages. Not a problem, just a minor pain. We got back to our room and relaxed. Still too cold to swim. We looked at all our loot. We finally got it together and went back out. We took the bus to Epcot, got on the monorail to the TTC, and got on another monorail to the Grand Floridian. No we didn't go back to V&A's, we just wanted some pictures of the inside of the resort. It is very nice. I still wanted a piece of that gingerbread house! One more monorail ride, I love the Spanish part, and into the MK. We took the train to Frontierland. How many more types of transportation can we do? It was SUPER busy. I'd never seen it so, and we have been there over Christmas! Thanksgiving wasn't even so busy! We got a FP for Haunted Mansion and walked around. Dinner time! I don't really think there are any good counter services in the MK as I've said, but we tried Colombia Harbor House. Not bad. Seth had a nice tuna sandwich and I had the kids mac and cheese. If you go, sit upstairs. No one was up there! It was so noisy and crowded downstairs but empty upstairs. We had a relaxing dinner.

Our FS was up so we went on the one ride we didn't get to the day before. It wasn't good. The FS line wasn't any shorter than the regular one. So we waited and waited. Then in the stretch room they didn't get everyone in and the door closed before they started the pre-show so we didn't get to hear it. I felt like they were just running everyone through. The ride was nice, but it was louder thatn I remember. So that meant we had to sing louder! Grimm Grinnin Ghosts come out to socialize!

It was so crowded we ended up just walking around. We did do the TTA twice. It's a nice relaxing ride with no line and you get to see most of Tomorrowland and inside Space Mountain. We tried to see the 1st EL Parade but they had closed down Main Street. We finally made it to the front of the Castle in time to see the fireworks, but then Tinkerbell's flight was cancelled and the winds were so strong the fireworks went off way to the left. So we moved to Adventureland. We found the Dole Whip stand everyone had been talking about on these boards and may I say they are right! Get you one of these! Or first was pineapple and vanilla. Our 2nd, 30 min. later was pineapple and chocolate. I recommend the 1st. Chocolate wasn't so good. We sat and ate and listened to the music and watched the fireworks. (and froze)

We did Pirates and the Treehouse, saw where they are building the new Aladin ride, then back to the TTA and no line, it was getting late and the last parade was going on, so we walked on to Buzz. This time Seth drove and I saved the galaxy. We were tired and it was late, so we left.

Did I say this one was shorter? Sorry! Thanks for sticking with me!

Coming soon, our last real day, Epcot, more sushi, and Hidden Treasures tour.

I hope you brought an extra suitcase or three with you. ;) :D

Don't worry. I love to hear about eating your way around the world. :D

Thanks for sharing your trip with us. :)

My kind of day - shopping at WDW. Glad to hear the CM's let you out of the stores! Thanks for posting!

Sonya, While reading your report, I was thinking the same thing as Lisa. I hope you took along an empty suitcase. lol.

I do have to agree with you shopping at Disney is "awesome" and who can resist trying to buy a little of everything.
