Public service announcement for Polynesian lovers: 5 works perfectly for the refrigerators. My DH called as he didn't think it was cooling properly. I talked to the guy from Engineering who said to set it to 5 and then things won't freeze and you can shut the doors. It worked like a charm. Our beverages were nice and cold yet nothing (most importantly the insulin) froze.
WE had a great stay. MY DS2 and I were in Raratonga the first night and I would no longer call it parking lot side but rather just South side. The view was of trees and lovely vegetation with but a distant glimpse of car lights on occasion. We moved to Hawaii the next morning and had a lovely stay.
It was great to see familiar faces. Hank is still doing room service, Gary is at Kona and of course Chef Dick is working his magic in the lounge.
Becky at the lobby concierge desk was wonderful. The first night she located some missing dining reservations for me. They were under a mangled phone number. She also printed out my reservations for two future stays which was a nice and appreciated surprise.
Brian helped me with a couple questions in Hawaii. Nina (I think?) checked us in there. Everyone and everything was great. More alohas than I believe I've ever heard.
Oh, there is construction on the front doors of the GCH on both levels.
Any questions I'll be glad to answer.
