Great news about the WDW trip!!! That is obviously a shot of someone else's bedroom - Marilyn was too shy to post her actual bedroom - it is a cross between a Tarzan in the Jungle meets disco 70s room, complete with swinging grapevines, laser disco flashing strobe lights, mirrored ceiling, and of course, the requisite moose antlers! Rumor has it that she actually parks the Tank in her room as well.

Where did get a hold of pictures of my bedroom?? I have to admit, the swinging grapevines make for interesting evenings. And yes, I had the builder add on extra space for the Tank. Is that so unusual? And the flashing disco lights get me in the mood for my cheerleading outfit and boots. (Never wear the standard issue whites at home ya know.

Glad you guys like the afghan. Haven't crocheted in years, but Jennifer got be back on track..thanks Jen!

So much for gettng my hair colored today. I cant leave dh alone with the kids because he is sick. Arrrrrrrgh. Im begining to look like a reverse skunk. I have about an inch of dark hair and I will have to listen to my coworker all next week about how I need to have my hair colored.

I was so tired last night and Tom wanted to do some monitor research, so had to hand over the Captain's chair to him, so I didn't get to look into the GRACE charm, but peeked at it this morning... hee hee hee! I simply have to get that charm! Check out the description and definitions for GRACE guys:

Betty, That poor kid is doomed with a mother like that.... so sad. We had a kid in Cam's class up until this year with a mom that constantly covered for, denied and made excuses for his work, behavior, etc.... Such an unbearable child...and the sad thing was, it wasn't his fault.

Tom was looking at the LCD flatscreens because of the space issue, but we don't want to sacrifice quality.... is there one brand that's particularly better than another? Etc etc.....

Bonnie is somewhat afraid of what her mail will bring in the next week I had friends over today, they saw my hula Santa and my magic wand on top of my computer and they have decided that Jodie is nuts. I don't think I told you all about the magic pixie dust wand she sent me. It came along with my hula Santa and Christmas ornament and is very cute. But non Yaya's just don't get it, they don't have a clue!

That charm I found has me almost convinced to buy a bracelet, and then I keep remembering, "oh yeah! I don't even like jewelry!"

I hope everything turns out okay with the DIS Con II refunds.

Dont'cha just hate it when you have something like a hair cut or a color that you desperately need or want and can't get to it.... makes me feel so icky. I get mine colored every 6 weeks because the temp. color she puts on conditions my permed hair so nicely... I'm due, and it's driving me nuts. My appt. was for the 16th, but I had to push it back yet another week due to a scheduling conflict. When I have her do it this time, I'm planning to go with more red (bring on the red!) and then she'll weave some BRIGHT red highlights into it... wooo hooo... fun!!

Oh! I forgot a couple of things...bad Kimmy. We have to stop talking charms if it's going to run Jeannie and her siggy off!!! Annnnd.... I'm going to open my mouth here when I probably should shut it cause I am not sure of all of the details...but about this discon refund thing. Perhaps some things were mishandled and I know feelings get prickly where money is concerned....but it seems to me...IMHO...that the powers that be tried to provide discon because that's what we wanted. I'm sure there are many factors that we are unaware of and it does seem like they did all they could to make it work. There was genuine pain and regret in that initial thread about how the plans had failed. I guess what I am saying here is it will be a true shame if people leave the dis over this. This is an incredably special community full of people who,if they look into their hearts, can forgive a mistake that started as a loving attempt to provide a way for us to "reach out and touch" eachother in person , in a place we all find full of magic. I just hope that patience and understanding prevail here. ***Jodie now gets off her soapbox and returns to making room for her bowflex****

Bonnie....quickly bracelet talk....believe it or not I really don't like much jewelry either. I wear a watch.....only wear my wedding rings and earrings if I go out....but I love the idea of a bracelet that has meaning for me. Could never stand the dangly charm bracelets...so annoying!
But......these bracelets look classy, are smooth and comfortable. I love it!!
