It is about an hour from my house too. Jennifer and I are going to meet at the Toledo Zoo sometime when the weather gets warmer. Want to come?

Jennifer (and this answers Laura's question too ) Just order the starter bracelet and the YaYa charm. You can add on the others at your leisure. ...and later when you buy new charms to replace a plain link, always remember to have the clerk give you back your original link... eventually you'll have enough to start a second bracelet. I have two now and at last count, I was only 4 links away from having a third.

Laura, yes you can change out the charms as you go on. I started with a slightly looser 18 link bracelet with one bought charm. I now have only 17 links on and I have 11 bought charms. I was thinking of getting a new matte bracelet to wear plain and loser as well since I have 10 charms sitting in my jewelry chest unused.

Karen, good luck with the bracelet! Since they are $10 each (about) it isn't too much to start with. And I had heard the same think Bonnie said about the nail polish (also works well to protect the enamel on charms).

I got my bracelet free today (well, it would have been free if I got the shiny or matte, but they were out of matte) when I bought 3 charms. They were $7.00 bracelets regularly and so she gave me a $7.00 credit on the one I did get, so it was $3.00

Yep..I've always been a brat of one kind or another.
I have those necklaces that are called birthstone brats ......that's why I thought bracelet brats was such a cute name.
