Hi everyone. Happy Monda-, er, *Thursday*. Boy, it sure feels like a Monday, being back to work and all. Good thing most everyone else in the company is off today. Hopefully today and tomorrow will be slow days.

Well the chain and lock didnt work. Seems my boss has a skeleton key. DRAT!!! I went back to work and as I expected I have a TON of stuff on my desk and a ton of transcription to do. I really cant complain much because I do have a job and I do like my job

I have SO much to do around the house. It is a disaster. There is TONS of laundry etc.... to do. Dh did start to help today since he is off. He ran a load of dishes and a load of laundry before he took our oldest out to see the new Harry Potter movie. Its a dad son day today. Petite Yaya is at school today. Dh decided he wanted to see if the movie was okay for petite yaya to see before we took him.

Wait wait I didnt take the chain I got CHAINED. Someone didnt steal the chain they just borrowed it because they felt sorry for this poor little person who had to go to work today. Im innocent I tell ya Im innocent hehehehehehehehehehe.

It would be cool to be able to get someone to make them. I wish there were like little brass charms that we could find and soder (or however you spell) onto a blank charm. Wouldn't be the best quality but it'd still be cute... boy am I dreaming. Although I think I found the charm I could use for me...

Jodie, I suggested cruise ship, and you know this group, they just ran with it! We are on our way to our next locale, which Jennifer has already picked out, a tropical island. We keep up, we will need our own country!

We need to open one of those quirky book/coffee shops and call it "The Last Word". Wouldn't that be cute?

OH!!!!! I vote for Josh Groban for entertainment! I don't want to see Charo anywhere on this ship! But I would like David Copperfield too. I don't care about the magic (unless he was working it on me), I just like to look at him.

I also vote that we keep Jay's--er--um--attendants segregated to one end of the ship. I wouldn't want either of my cabin boys to be tempted. Or locked in Jay's cabin, that would be even better!

Elaine, I must not have made that hot toddie strong enough for you! Let's see--if I kick in the 4WD, I could be there in about 2-1/2 hours (snow slowing me down here). Extra strength hot toddie, warm electric blanket, Marilyn's extra special chicken soup, Vaporub, and a nice back rub. Would that help?

Seriously, if you have a humidifier, turn it on, it will help. And get out the warm salt water and gargle. Feel better soon, sweetie!

Just wanted to pop in and say hi all!

Hope you all had a wonderful new years. I fell asleep, but woke up at 11:52 at which time I told dh to turn on Dick Clark and pop out the bubbly. Then I immediately went to bed afterwards!

We spent yesterday at the IL's, eating sleeping and cursing the Gators.

Anyhoo, now we are off to IL's again since Robert's aunt is coming in from Melbourne to help Regan scrapbook. Fun, I'm sure.

I tried to ketchup, but don't have time to read everything right now. The 2 girls I babysit will be coming soon, and I've been busy straightening this house up! We took full advantage of our vacation and now I have the fun task of getting everything cleaned up!

My BIL is spending the night tonight so he can stay with the boys while we are at the hospital with Julian.

Jeannie, my AMC watching has been kinda pitiful too. Just can't seem to get into it lately.

Welcome Michelle. I have 4 boys also, but mine are younger: 12, 10, 9, & 6.

It is snowing right now. Blech! We are expecting 2-5 inches.

DH went back to work today. He's on afternoons now, though, and I really HATE afternoons. My boys go back to school Monday. And Jonathan leaves for camp on Monday. He'll be gone the 6th-8th. Waah!

Well, time to get another load of clothes in the dryer. I'll probably be back on later tonight, after the girls leave.

Kimmie, please note that I did not make this suggestion. Seeing how we're sharing this cool Super Suite & all, I wouldn't want to, well, you know, send any wrong messages. Natalie & Stacy can stay in their own cabins away from the cabin boys.

I agree. We need better locks on the Super Suite. Sheesh... people can't just be busting the locks to "borrow" stuff all the time. That's how cabin boys/girls disappear.

Hey, Apolo looks like he has that sweeping thing down! I just hope the skates don't hurt the hardwood, tile and capret flooring on the ship. And just like the RCCL mega-ships, we have an on-board ice rink too. It's not very big, but hey, it's better than nothing.

For those of you who know me, I'm a little shy of things like exchanges and such and Nancy my Discon rep was the first one I'd opened up to (after she promised me she wasn't a stalker! ) and oh boy am I glad!

Around 12/28, Nick flew in to Boston from the West Coast before taking the bus down to NY to spend NYE w/ me...he told me there was a package that'd arrived at home but he didn't bring it with him...MY PACKAGE!!!! Well I get home and there it is-waahhhh!! IT was filled with all sorts of goodies and sweets-and my absolute fave thing: AUTOGRAPHS from some our very own YaYas and other CB folks...WOW you all ARE REAL!!!!!!!!! It made me sosososososo happy!!! Thank you so much Nancy!!! Oh I loved it!!!!!

Ok I'm going to KETCHUP now!!!

Laura...it's so hard to explain the DIS or Net communities to the uninitiated isn't it??? It's a different medium for meeting people and in some ways superior, idealistic even; you choose your friends based on things besides a surface impression-which, don't get me wrong, the surface does tell alot about a person and how they WANT to be perceived but not everything. You can't really convince people stuck in yesterday's world and fearful/scornful/whatever about the net...anyway, I won't preach to the choir...I'm just glad you're here.
