Did you hear Mr Noodle passed away? It was on the news this morning. I guess he was also on Evening Shade years ago. I never watched that, so Im not familiar with him being anything else but Mr Noodle. Elmos World will not be the same!:(

I heard that this morning. :(

Michael Jeter was a really talented man with a pretty extensive resume, but yeah, those of us with kids will miss Mr. Noodle most of all. :(

Luna and Mr. Noodle, both lost in a couple weeks. :(

He was AMAZING in "The Green Mile.":(

How sad!:( Michael Jeter was a great performer. His character as Mr. Noodle will be missed by my children. However, Mr. Noodle has a brother played by the fellow that was in Northern Exposure. He was the clown/deaf man in the circus and Joel's secretary's boyfriend.

Yes, Lynne Thigpen died a few weeks ago too. I enjoyed both performers very much.

Yes, he had been on many things, Evening Shade was one of the more recent ones.. was he young?

Sad sad news in the entertainment world :(

Cindy -- he was 50. They said he was HIV-positive, but seemingly in good health, but at the time-being, it's being considered death by natural causes. :(

I am just brokenhearted to hear this. I loved watching Michael Jeter, I can't say enough about his performance in The Green Mile, he was incredible. My kids loved The Other Mr. Noodle, too. It's just so sad.

Luna and Mr. Noodle both gone. :( :( :(

Yes, I knew he was HIV positive for a while. He actually went on a talk show and talked about it, before he got the Sesame Street gig. (It was still when he was on Evening Shade or right after)

He was excellent in the movie “The Fisher King”. (great movie)
He had a bit part as a Homeless Cabaret Singer.

Goodbye Mr. Noodle
