Service Road behind BCV?

I keep reading about a service road behind BCV. Is the noise bothersome?

Actually it's not a service road. It's the regular road that does the loop of all the hotels. It connects to Buena Vista Blvd at one point, goes pass the Swan, Dolphin, Yacht Club, Beach Club, Beach Club Villas, and finally Boardwalk Inn/Villas entrances, then connects back onto Buena Vista Blvd.

If you're staying at Beach Club your quickest way to anything is to exit the parking lot, turn right on the road and follow the road to Buena Vista. This takes you under the waterway that connects the Epcot area resorts lake to the Epcot lake itself.

For some reason many people think they have to turn Left out of the parking lot and go the long way around.

Just off the hotel access road there is a warehouse area behind Epcot's Canadian/Great Britain areas that does have some truck traffic.

Finally to answer your question, we never heard any traffic that was bothersome, and we had a great view of the Epcot fireworks!

It's not a service road, and it has a name: Epcot Resorts Boulevard.
There is relatively little guest traffic along the segment between Beach Club and Boardwalk (i.e. behind BCV).

We had a first floor room facing the road in February. It is not really loud but kind of awkward to sit out on the patio with people driving by. Very little privacy on the first floor. I would imagine that up higher is very nice because of the fireworks view. We could hear them nicely. They sounded great.

We've had top floor, Epcot views on both of our trips and we were not bothered by the road noise at all. Happy Birthday Cat is correct in that the Epcot view is very nice and the Illuminations view is very good.

I found it annoying to sit out on the balcony with the traffic going by, just didn't feel like vacation Alot of delivery trucks use that road. If I stayed there again I would request a different view for sure.

We were on the fifth floor with an outstanding view of the fireworks from Illumination and could see Canada and part of France. The road noise was not really a problem to us. There was very little traffic in the evening when we were in the room and if the door was closed you could not hear it.
I would ask for this location again.
