Servers just getting slower and slower

Today I'm constantly getting this error with Google Chrome:

HTTP Error 502 (Bad Gateway): The gateway or proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.

This is the only site where I'm getting this today (ie, cnn.com is fine, google.com is fine, etc).

I don't get any messages but DIS is slower than slow today, taking over 2 minutes to load a reply or load a different page

AHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I timed it, it took a minute and a half for the reply to topic page to open.

I wish someone would do something! At least tell us what's gong on.

I've been unable to access the DIS for the majority of this week. If I'm lucky, I can get one thread to open.

It has been so painfully slow that I will sometime just give up I miss my DIS fix

I dont understand why we cant get a reply. This is frustrating. People are starting to go elsewhere.

This is very frustrating, its hard enough for just posting for answering threads. Its even harder for doing your TR. It keeps freezing as well. Could someone please give us an answer. People are starting to go else where.

This is what was posted during portions of the migration prep this weekend.

We will be upgrading to some new servers over the next 10 days or so
There will be some occasional periods of downtime as we get ready to migrate
Like now
We should be back up in an hour or so

This took ten minutes to post. First the homepage wouldn't load, then after a few tries it loaded. Then after the homepage loaded I couldn't go any farther, I kept getting redirected to a page say server is busy.

On the positive side, I hardly spent any time on the DIS this weekend and we cleaned out the whole basement. Our house lost close to a thousand pounds I guessed.
I was so proud of DD who is now ten. She got rid of all her barbies, and a bunch of other 'little kids' stuff.
