server charged CC not DDP-- any experiences?

We always have the DxDP and in order to avoid these problems, we:

Do not have charging privileges on our KTTW cards. Never had any trouble using a CC or debit card anywhere in the world so there is no inconvenience.

Always pay cash for tips. Always. The only down side is we had one waittress at Garden Grill get snippy because she thought we weren't tipping her at all. She apparently did not see the cash on the table.

Always check the receipt before leaving the restaraunt.

That's what we plan on doing too, cash for tips so we don't even have to worry about it.

If you have charging privileges, will not all the charges show up on your check out invoice?

This may be a dumb question, but wouldn't the actual receipt show if you used dining credits? I thought I read in the dining plan brochure that it shows you how many credits you have left on the bottom of the receipt. Is that not true?
