Seriously, what are my chances for California

So here's the deal. Big trip in October. Flights are booked. We fly to LA on Tuesday October 22nd through Sunday the 27th.

I have a room at VGC for Wednesday through Sunday already booked, and I am waitlisted for Tuesday night. Both full ressie and waitlist are in a Studio.

If everything stays the same, it would seem that Tuesday would be a night for Mickey's Halloween Party.

If that is the case, what are my chances for that one night to come through on the waitlist?

I waitlisted a studio for late September last June for a Friday night and it never came through. We had booked Sunday to Thursday nights, planned to leave Friday. Then the first MVMCP was that Friday night, we decided to stay one more night. We booked PPH as a backup (cash) and ended up staying there. It was convenient to just walk across the street and check-in.

No one can ever tell with VGC. But I had a waitlist for Sunday night during Gaydays last Oct. Park was a 10+ Friday - Monday. Got the waitlist a few weeks into my wait. Alot of schools now have Fall break in Oct. so plans could change for someone who has it booked now. Hold tight, I would not worry about it until July or August.

Another option is to book a Disney hotel with points, but once you turn your points to reservation points they can only be used for hotel reservation not DVC any more so I would wait until Sept to do that.
