I know I can get "historical" hours elsewhere, but I really just want to know when the parks will be open during our August visit. I keep checking and checking. We are less than 3 months out--is this normal for Universal to hold off posting the hours so long?

Yep.

ditto....

park hours each year are typically the same for closing time.

looking at last years park hours will be very similar for this year august.

Ha glad to see I'm not the only one stalking Universal for August hours. I bet we wont see rhem till the beginnig of June. If they are always the same as the year before why take so long to post them? Oh well its not like we will be changing any of our days one way or the other.

My guess is they are waiting to see how Transformers affects crowds at the Studios. Its easier to wait than post and have to change the hours...you know?

I guess I will stop checking for October then.

in october, the studios will close at 5:00 due to hhn on thur, fri, sat, sun.
mid october, wednesday will be included for the 5:00 studios closing.

ioa usually stays open until 7:00 on the nights hhn is in session.

for the non hhn nights, 6:00 could be the closing time for the studios.

once transformers ride is open, crowds could increase.
UO could increase the park hours for the non hhn nights if the crowds stay high.
