So, I have decided, God willing, that we will do Thanksgiving @ WDW each year.

I am not interested in DVC, we have decided to do CR, Poly, GF and then try BC, YC and BW.

We will arrive the Friday night b/f Turkey day and leave the Sat morning after, so we are looking at 7 touring days.

What do you think would be my best money saving strategy? Right now I have an AP for me and DDE card. My AP expires May 28, 2006. Would you renew the AP and get one use out of it a year and buy rest of family 7 day hoppers w/exp.? I also have AAA. I'd love to hear how you guys do it.

Thanks

I would not renew the AP in May if I wasn't not planning to go to WDW until November. I would get a new AP in November and then plan to renew it annually at the discounted renewal rate. Since the AP is not cost-effective for everyone else unless they intend to take multiple trips within the year, the 7-day hoppers are a good idea for them.

Unfortnuately, w/ the AP the dates of your trip may change just enough each year that it will expire right as you arrive. Also, you may need to research it alittle bit. However, sometimes around the holidays there are no AP room rates. You may do better getting something along the lines of 10 days MYW tickets w/ no expiration.

I see what you mean, even if I only get one trip out of the AP by renewing it in Nov. every year I would get a discounted renewal rate?

Thanks
