Hi everyone!
We are just beginning to plan our trip to DLP next May for my 30th birthday and are trying to chose which hotel to stay in. We stayed at the Cheyenne in april this year and want something different. We will also be travlling with our new baby who will be 10 months old next May so are trying to work out which hotel has the best amenities for the baby.

We were looking at the DLH but have decided to check prices for the Sequoia Lodge Hotel suites. Does anyone have any experience of these suites? The main questions I have are:

1- Do the suites have a fridge for storing baby food/bottles?

2- Do the suites have more than one bed? t will be DH and myself with DS1 (who will be 4) and the baby in a cot. Would there be a bed for DS1?

3- Do they provide baby cots?

4 - Does anyone have a rough idea of how much extra they cost per night on top of the standard room price? Or how much it would be roughly for 4 nights in May? I know the prices will obviously be diffeent for 2009 but i just want an idea of how much we are looking at.

Thanks everyone

if you stay in a montana room in the SL you get a fridge and your DS would have a double bed and you can request a cot for the baby
the room and very nice and a lot cheaper than the DLH

Happy Planning

Hi there,
Baby cots are provided free of charge. We took our DD2 when she was 10 months and we are going to SL in Jan, taking our DD3 when she will be 15 months. They give you a travel cot. I am staying in a Montana room and I seem to remember a figure of £385 to upgrade to a suite for 3 nights - but I might be wrong. I think it depends on what time of year you go.

I had considered staying in a suite at Sequoia Lodge last summer. I had thought that it would be 2 rooms, but when I rang up to enquire I was told that this is not the case in the SL. I'm not sure how many beds were in it, but it is all in 1 room. I stayed in a suite in the Newport Bay Hotel instead & it was brilliant. We stayed at the end of June 2007 & it cost 450 euro per night. Then were 2 rooms with a massive bed in the bedroom & a very comfortable sofabed in the livingroom. They provided us with a travelcot at the time. I wrote a review of the suite. You can find it at :

There is a minibar in the room which you can use if you wish, but when I asked if it could be emptied to store baby milk I was told that the temperature was not that of a fridge & was not suitable for storing milk. It wasn't a problem because I brought the ready made cartons & threw away any left.

My baby was 6 mths old when we stayed there, so had just started on solids & we only needed to bring some jars with us. We have since stayed at the Marriott Village because I needed cooking facilities for the baby & would highly recommend staying there.

There is no fridge in the sequoia lodge rooms, there is a mini bar but it isn't a fridge. I have been given access to a fridge for our stay in October but it wont be in our room and I have only been given access to it as it is needed to store my daughters milk who has sever food intolerances and is on a prescription formula, if she didnt have that she would starve! I dont think they would provide access to a fridge for normal baby milk as the demand would be huge then.
