Sequoia Lodge refurb?

Hi Guys,

We are a day or two away from booking a trip for January as I just saw the prices for SL and couldn’t believe it! As much as I’d love to go back to the DLH I don;t think it’s worth triple the price of SL – especially now our beloved Earl of Sandwich is at the SL end of the village!

We’ve not been to DLRP for almost 3 years, and haven’t stayed at the SL for 3.5 years.

My preference has always been Main Building, but I’m aware some refurbishments have gone on in the lodges, so the price for Main Building is actually £88 less than for the lodges.

I just want to know, are the Main Building rooms OK still.

I’m not expecting flat screen TVs and all Mod Cons, but I would like a clean bathroom and wallpaper that’s not peeling.....

I’d rather be in the main building in the cold weather, just want some reassurance that the rooms are still of a similar standard to our last visit, which was fine in our opinion.

I think the 1st 2 floors of the main building have had their refurbishment finished already so you can always request these 2 when you stay
