Hi everyone! I've read some good things about the Sequoia Lodge on here but I have a few questions.

1. How far of a walk to the parks? I will be traveling alone with my 3 kids (10,7 and 2) and don't want too long of a walk.
2. Everyone keeps saying to book the main building. What is the difference?

I just started researching this trip and really don't know anything about the hotels or the parks. I could use any and all advice.

Thanks!

We stayed there last year and really enjoyed it. On the DLP site they call it 10 minutes which is accurate if you walk straight through but with the kids getting sidetracked it may be more like 15. It is very simple, take a right out of the resort and then a right through the Disney village and just look for the park entrances. The main building is the closest to the parks and it also has the check-in, luggage storage and the restaurants. The outer buildings sort of branch out going away from the parks towards the SF and Cheyenne. The pool is in one of these outer buildings. We stayed in the main building and it was great, I probably wouldn't consider an outer building.

Some of the outer buildings are quiet a lot further away and would have to go to the main building for breakfast x
