We are planning a trip to DLRP in November to make use of our Fantasy Annual Passports. I had intended to stay at the Dream Castle Hotel as this is where we stayed in August and we were quite happy with it.
Expedia are now showing Sequoia Lodge as being available for less than £90 more over the 3 nights for our party. This would give us access to the Extra Magic Hours but i have a couple of questions first...
1) Dream Castle is rated as 4* and Sequoia as 3* - I am not that fussed about fancy facilities so long as it is clean and not too cramped (we will have 3 adults (myself my auntie and my cousin) plus my daughter (2) in the room, we aren't bothered about the prospect of sharing but obviously i don't want to find that the rooms are tiny! Reviews seem to be mixed from Wonderful to dated and shabby...
2) When I was looking at the Cafe Mickey Character breakfast i read somewhere about non resort guests having to pay 25 Euro - how much is this for resort guests?
3) What is the breakfast like? I think i saw about someone paying a supplement to upgrade from continental to American style... anyone done this and was it worth it?
4) Finally, we will be in Christmas season by then, what is this hotel like as far as Christmas decoration and themeing goes?
