Can anyone share their experiences with mid-September at the parks? I'm wondering what crowd levels will be like since a lot of kids are back in school. I'm thinking of a weekday trip as well. Thanks all!

Halloween starts mid-September and it's popular. This year there was an AP appreciation event that started after the 60th ended that attracted crowds to DCA. Of course, APs also have access to DL. What kind of crowds are you looking for. Most days aren't peak crowded, but it's very rare to find a day where you're waiting under 20-30 for headliners or walking on anything or FPs don't run out eventually.

Mid September crowds are great. Do not expect a ghost town though. Weekends will be busy as halloween time will have started which attracts a lot of AP' s. Just a heads up about weather....it is usually HOT!

We've been mid September twice and both times is has been extremely hot and busy. We were there for the start of Hallowe'en so we knew what we were in for crowd wise but the heat surprised us.

My friend went in September last year and it was super hot. Like 100 degree hot, which feels even hotter there. She likes it hot though so didn't complain. I would have melted.

Yeah it really depends on the time of the month you go there. Beginning of September will be much slower than the end due to Halloween Timeeeee!

One thing folks don't realize, that Home Schooling folks (students and the parents that teach them) have a group of seminars and gatherings in Anaheim in September, which brings in a lot of kids, when many folks expect to find not many kids, as the school year has started....
