Hi all,

Planning next trip for September 2011 and was curious to hear other peoples experiences with the weather that time of year. Looking to visit the water parks also.

Hot ... Hot ... Hot. You can sweat standing still outside at midnight. Often two to three daily thunderstorms more likely to occur in afternoon to evening than morning. Also risk of hurricane that could, when it reaches WDW, bring all day rain and somewhat heavy wind to WDW.

:thumbsup2...:thumbsup2....:thumbsup2

We've only been once in Sept but it was exactly as described above - including the fringe storms from a hurricane in the gulf. And also it was the most humid we've ever experienced but have not gone in the middle of summer.

We love going in September, the parks are much more quiet (although dining can be a challenge because of the Free Dining Offers for CRO guests), short wait times and I actually love the heat!

It seems to rain almost every evening in Orlando and actually the worst weather I have ever experienced was in May 2009, it rained pretty much for a solid week.

HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT .. and HOT!

The parks are empty, though. Walk through air conditioning as much as possible and enjoy Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.

Super duper hot and pretty rainy. It's still hurricane season (not that I would worry about that - just explaining the weather pattern). But definitely hotter than ...

some yeras are hotter than others...
I have been then when it was in the 90's and other years in the 80's
it is cooler then July by far a little more than August I would say closer to June weather but less Humid...
Rain it can for some days hours mostly minutes never seen a full day... you can get a hurricane through November but July-August are the most active same chances no matter which month.
the payoff... you will never feel hot as you walk on to almost everything....
Septmeber has been my favorite time for years... I like it hotter it is Florida and I do not like crowds.. I have been to Disney Most months sorry Dec, Jan, Feb, March are not for me one day it can be 80 the next 50 or worse :confused3
Oct and November are cooler but more crowds..

HOT HOT HOT.

but it's still our favorite time of year to go.

it's very hard to commando all day long. be prepared to go back to the room in the middle of the day. but even with a mid day break, the get low crowds still make it easy to get everything done.

and it is hurricane season, so be prepared for the possibility of everything from daily showers to full blown rain--just no way to tell what you are going to get.
