September weather expectations!!!

Doing a Girlie Weekend @ BCV from Sept- 9- 13, 2004. We are skipping the parks this time but wanted to know what we can expect in terms of weather... heat... rain.....

We have been twice in Sept--a week or so later than your trip though-and I can tell you its been pretty hot both time. I wouls say its been in the 90's--sometimes high, sometimes low but 90's both times. One trip we had 2 days of rain and the next trip about the same. Compared to the 7 days of rain we just had on our June trip this year.

I am sure you girls will have a great time. The weather in Sept. is still very hot and humid, and although you said you weren't doing the parks you may want to reconsider since the crowds are very low during this time of the year. We still get rain at that time but usually like the summer, afternoon showers.....a great time to hit the outlet malls!:

We always go at that time of year. Weather isn't quite as hot and humid as July, but still pretty much so. Rain, if you have any, is usually there and gone before you know it. Last September we only had one afternoon shower the whole week, and we were taking our afternoon nap at the resort when it hit. The only thing is, September is still hurricane season - in Sept. 2001 we were there during a tropical storm, which hit the day after 9/11. Miserable trip all the way around.
Accuweather.com is the site we like since it gives 15 day forecasts, and can help with planning what to take.

September is our usual month for Disney. Still hot and humid, but less crowded (not for long with all the Sept. posts though)

We have had a couple of hurricane scares.
