September refurb question

Hi, I was wandering what the usual refurbs for Late September are. Im affraid that the haunted mansion will be down for refurb around sep. 23-25. If anyone could let me know when how long the refurb usually happens that would be great thanks!

last year we went on Sept. 29th and 30th, and HM was already re-opened. i do think it had "just" re-opened though, just 1-3 days before we got there.

if they do the NBC overlay this year, then HM will be closed when we are thinking about going (mid-sept.) i don't really mind though....shhh, don't tell my family, but HM is NOT one of my favorites, lol!

the HM was down for refurb when we were there 7-13th Sept last year, I believe it was due to open up at the end of the month.

Halloween season starts Sept. 25, so it should be open that day. I've also been told Canal Boats and Casey Jr. are under refurb this September.

I learned via DGS's that at this time (The schedule can change) that the HM will close down for the beginning of the hmh installation, on September 10th. Normally, it takes
@2 weeks for the overlay to be installed. Then it reopens before the end of Sept. where it will be in place until after Jan.01, be closed down again, to uninstall said overlay, then reopen @ two weeks later, as the traditional haunted mansion.
I was really hoping that this year, hmh would not take place, in deference to the Haunted Mansion's 40th Anniversary. It just does not surprise me in the least, that even with the importance and significance of this date, that Disney will close the HM down anyway, for the other event.

Haunted mansion Is one of my favorite rides. So I just was hoping that is wouldn't be closed. But if it is Im sure I will still enjoy myself.

Oh bummer! We are going mid september and I was really hoping to take my kiddos on Canal Boats. That makes me really sad.

I heard on another site that they will be closed from Aug. 31 until Nov. 20. Must be a big overhaul.....

Wow! I guess. Well, we will go next year too, so I can take them at that time. But still, it isn't easy to find rides that I think both kids will really enjoy. Maybe I will be pleasantly surprised, though.
