So I know for sure I want to do DL again later on this year but I'm torn. I want to take advantage of my birthday ticket (September 10) but then I've wanted to be there for Halloween for a very long time now (did Christmas is '03). Any advice?

can you go twice??? i guess it depends on what matters to you more...celebrating your birthday at DL or halloween at DL? i'm thinking the crowds will be less during your bday...i believe the MTOT tends to bring in the crowds.

if you can't go twice, i think i'd go for my bday, then save halloween for next year!

good luck in making your decision! either way, you'll be having a great time at DL!!!!

Thanks ;) I am a horrible decision maker, it's sad. In a perfect world I'd be able to go twice, but I don't think I'd be able to get that much time away from work. I've never really done anything big on my birthday before. I stayed at the GCH for my 21st birthday - only I was celebrating it two months early because I wasn't going to be able to get the time off from work otherwise. So on the one hand I'd like to actually do something on my birthday, but on the other hand I'm used to doing the big celebration before or after and October would be such a fun time to go. I can convince myself either way would be best all night and day, I think.

I would go in September because I think the crowds would be lower. :thumbsup2

Go for your birthday, get in free and avoid the October crowds. We were there last year in October and it was REALLY crowded!!!

Celebrate your birthday this year with the free ticket and minimum crowds. The halloween decorations will be there next year. Give you something to plan for ;)

We are going in October(not all planned yet just the month) so we can see all the Halloween decorations and HM
I read in a thread somewhere the first week in October isn't so crowded, but then I don't know when the deco's go up yet either :confused3
Kids go back to school September so that should be a nice quiet time at DL!

It is a good plan. But I'm so impatient!! I want to go now!! Oh wait, I'm going in 25 days, duh. And I'm already going bonkers over here, lol. I can only imagine myself for the next 16+ months until October 2010. But I think I will give in and do September this year and then save the Halloween trip for 2010. Now I just need to find out where I can get the best deals from.
