How is the weather in late September/early October? Would it be wise to book the water park option with our package? I just wanted to make sure it would be warm enough and worth the money. I know it's a little far in advance since I am planning on booking September 30-October 7, but does anyone know if the the Halloween party will be in full swing by that time?

We went last Septmeber 23 - 29. It was HOT! The water parks would have been great! Have fun!

The weather in late September through early October will still be in the mid 80s so still pretty hot.

We were there 9/22 - 9/28 this year. It was hot! - hight 80's evert day. We didn't go to the water parks, but went in the swimming pool at our hotel several times.

We were there from 10/3-10/11 this year and it was definitely warm enough to swim.

I believe MNSSHP starts at the very end of September (i.e. 9/30). We went twice, 10/6 and 10/7/05, so it will be in full swing during your trip.

Yes to all of the above. We went 9/27-10/1 and we did both waterparks and the first night of MNSSHP (Sept. 30)

The weather for the waterparks was perfect. You'll have an awesome time. I'm so jealous. :teeth:

Last year we did Typhoon Lagoon and then MNSSHP, it was a great day! Perfect swimming weather, it was around Oct. 2nd or 3rd.

It was very hot for us this year, we went from October 1-8, and I chose to leave the personal portable fans at home because I expected fall weather. I should have known better. The pools were great, the water parks would have been even better. I left the water parks off our tickets, because when we went in 2004, I included water parks. We never went. There was a cold snap when we were there in December. Our Magic Kingdom day, it never rose above 31. So, we planned for October 2005, hoping for a little breeze, but, not COLD. We got HEAT. The MNSSHP was going full swing while we were there. I pitied some of those kids dressed in full fur type costumes.

We went Oct 25 - 30 this year. We got there the morning after Hurricane Wilma went through Florida & it was cool. Warmest day was mid to upper 70's & nites were in the 50's. So if a storm is passing through just before you go, it can change the weather. Keep an eye on the Weather Channel. DS swam a little but I got in the pool & immediately got back out. BRrr. :cold: But we had a blast & I'd go back then in a minute!
