Hello everyone!

I am going to attempt one of the Pre-Trip Planning threads and see if I can keep up. I have not been having as many issues lately so hopefully -knocks on wood- I can keep posts up consistently. I am currently still working on my extra long 2015 trip report from November in another thread.

Now onto the current stuff! :earboy2:

The trip is booked and now there is just planning to do! Here are the facts! ::MickeyMo

Dates: September 25 - October 4

We are going to try and catch a MNSSHP and are definitely going to F&W.

Party: DG (Me), BF(Best Friend and WDW Convert), and FM (Friend's mother)

My BF mother has never been and this will be a fun trip for her to be apart of!

Resort: Coronado Springs :tigger:

Tickets & Dining: 7 Day PH with DP

Now we have one major unknown factor, that being FM's sister...she thinks she can come but is not 100% yet and we are still waiting to hear back from her to see if we can officially add her to the reservation. I have never dealt with this before and I really want to know before I make any ADRs or have to add any special offers that may come up.

Currently we are 196 days away from our 10 day trip!

I am trying to smooth out which ADRs I want and on which days we should have them...

Anyways! That is the plan thus far! :stitch2:

I couldn't find an October check in thread so I'm tacking onto yours :)

My fiance and I haven't been to DL since 2013 and since then we've become engaged and have an almost two year old. I've a DL fan living in Oregon and while he tolerates my love for the land, he grew up in Newport Beach, CA and Anaheim so he's just a long for the ride. Now that we have a son, Fiance is getting really into this trip. His Uncle is getting married in San Diego so there's no way I can be hours from DL and not go.

We'll be in CA 10/3-10/10, trying to figure out what days to be in the park, we'd also like to attend a MHP while we are there. I've never been during Halloween time, so me jumping for joy is an understatement.

All we've booked so far is our flight :hyper: I can't wait to plan the rest of our trip!

200 days to go!

:dumbo::stitch2:So we have the word on who all is coming and the Aunt can come!! :ccat:
Yay for an all adult trip of 4!

The most recent planning has been trying to figure out our days since our ADR date is on Tuesday! I had an amazing plan loosely figured out in my head on whih parks we would start with since two of them have never been (or haven't been in 15+ years).

My original idea was for the first 4 days we could start off at different parks and the last three park days would be spent at which park/s we wanted for the day. It went like this:
1: Arrival Day, No Park, No ADR
2: EPCOT
3: MK
4: AK
5: HS
6: Any Park
7: Pool Day/Disney Springs
8: Any Park
9: Any Park
10: Departure Day :'(

Wasn't that nice? Start out easy at Epcot then cruise on into the other parks? But then Disney released their park hours for the dates of our trip. (My mother is a TA and had early access to our dates park hours which are subject to change since MNSSHP dates haven't been released etc...)

Disney does not agree with my wonderful plan so it all had to be reworked so that on Tuesday I can make our ADR's.

So now the plan will go something like this.
1: Arrival Day, No Park, No ADR

2: Animal Kingdom, Lunch @ Tusker House, FP+ EE - KS - ROL

3: Epcot, Dinner @ Biergarten, FP + Soarn - Frozen - Charcaters

4: Hollywood Studios, Dinner @ 50's, FP+ RnR - ST - Fantasmic

5: Magic Kingdom, Breakfast @ Crystal Palace, Lunch @ Skipper Canteen, Dinner @ Cinderella Castle, Possibly MNSSHP?

6: Park Hopping, Dinner @ Be Our Guest, MK FP+ for the evening

7: Pool/Disney Springs Day, No ADR

8: Park Hopping, Breakfast @ Ohanas, FP+ for midday

9: Park Hopping, No ADR, FP+ for midday

10: Departure Day :'( Disney Springs and last pin trading efforts

So that's the outline for now! I know it's crazy! :stitch2:

Your plan sounds exciting and busy! I will be there the week before you and just made all my ADRs yesterday.. I kind of wish that MNSSHP dates were out officially … it makes it harder to finalize the plans! I will say to that your day 5 seems like a lot of time eating sit down meals… You may want to consider that.. it take so long to do those types of meals.

Day 5 is still a loose plan on the ADR. I've never had to spend too long in Crystal Palace with an early reservation like I plan to get. If I can't get an early one I'll swap it out to a different time & day. Usually plan on being at MK A LOT on trips where we have PH.

That and if MNSSHP is on that day we can hit more rides then as well. The last MNSSHP I was at was a sold out party and we were able to do everything before it ended! Including character meets and that was taking it VERY slow.

The Disney Blog posted the dates for the MNSSHP today… Still waiting for them to post the dates and tickets on the site though…

I saw the MNSSHP dates yesterday! It made my day! It lines up with my plans perfectly as well! So we will do that on the 29th or the 30th :cool1: Now the wait for the prices begins...

Now if only the ROL would be announced and AK hours updated...:worship:

Only 185 left to wait!:stitch:

We hit the 180 day mark! Cue the 180 day party!!! :jumping1::cool1:party:

Okay so a lot of the plan changed due to availability and since we are playing around with the idea of a spontaneous water park day...won't know until we get there.

So here is the new dining plan!

Sept. 26 Tusker House @ 12:55pm
This is within the time frame that I wanted so yay! :simba:

Sept. 27 Biergarten @ 6:10pm
Again, right in my time frame! Today is a good day! :figment:

Sept. 28 50's Prime Time Cafe @ 5:15pm
Exactly the time that I wanted! :smickey:

Sept. 29 Crystal Palace @ 8:25am
AHHHHHHHHHH Pre-Park Opening resi!!! :eeyore::tigger:pooh:Hopefully they don't change the hours for this day....

Sept. 30 Coral Reef @ 5:55pm
I like Coral Reef, the Mahi Mahi is to kill for...but this was originally Skipper Canteen and the CM said that for now it is still going to be a day of booking system...and I did not want us to have one TS point lingering over our heads for this trip. So CR it is! Besides it will be PHing day and seafood is a group fav! :earboy2:

Oct. 1 Ohana's @ 10:15am
A nice late breakfast on rest day at one of my favorite resorts to start off our resort exploring day! :stitch2::stitch:

Oct. 2 Be Our Guest @ 4:50pm
FINALLY! A BOG dinner!!! I have only ever had the breakfast at BOG (Which is SO gooood....) and now I have finally snagged a BOG dinner! It moved to this day due to having none on the other days...

Oct. 3 Cinderella's Royal Table @ 5:20pm

It has been...maybe 7 or 8 years? Idk... a VERY long time since I have eaten inside this stunning castle and I thought what better way to end our last park day? princess::tinker:It will get everyone pumped for the next vacation and some members of the group have said before that they wished you could go inside the castle...hehe :tink:Surprise!

Now I just need to wait for the MNSSHP prices, collect goodies for the goodie bags I am prepping, and figure out our Fastpasses for each day.

Be Our Guest dinner is awesome! You got a lot of delicious sounding reservations. I'm in the same boat our trip is about a week or so earlier so I'm just waiting for MNSSHP tickets to roll out next.

I am SO excited for this trip! I am itching to go back! This year I will only be there twice, in Sept/Oct and then again only this time with all of my siblings
:-)>:(8-):P:oops: (Those are all of my siblings that are coming I have more! :scared:) in November.

Going from going 1-3 times a year every year since I was barely 4 years old :earsgirl: then enduring a gruesome 4 year hiatus:headache: to last year getting back into my Disney groove by going 3 times , dropping down to only two trips this year just hurts but not as much as not going to Disney! I have 4 YEARS of no Disney trips to make up for! :figment:

Haha I know what you mean we took our first trip 6 months ago, and I've wanted to go back ever since! We're going back in September and December this year, with a cruise
coming in May. I talked my boyfriend into annual passes so hopefully we'll go more than once next year too

4 year must've been rough! You do need to take a lot of trips to make up for that.

Hello everyone! Thought I would finally give an update! So many things changed between such small amounts of time that I didn't feel the need to update y'all and have you pull your hair out with me in the process.

Alright. So first things first. We added a person. The more the merrier however I had to try and add her to all of our ADRs. After weeks of struggle I managed to get her into almost all of them even the Castle. Still working on the Be Our Guest resi but she knew that coming in late she may have to eat alone on a night or two.

So that is settled except for BOG which isn't a big deal. FANTASTIC.

So the weeks went by, I added ears, beach towels, and lanyards full of pins to trade into everyone's goodie bags, which double as trick or treat bags, and everything was going great! All I needed was the special offer announcement add whichever one I could and all would be right in the world (besides MNSSHP tickets).

Which gets us to today...and the opening for Free Dining.
I called, called again, and again, and again, again. Nothing. Wasn't getting through. Finally, at 3:00pm I got it to go through and waited on hold for an hour and a half.

Libby, the CM I spoke with, was a delight! AMAZINGLY cheerful and upbeat. I explained what if like to do and she started to search. Nothing's showed up for CBR so we looked at CS, nothing, then we tried Riverside, nada. All that she could find was AKL. I didn't want to spend that much as its not in the budget with all the trips I'm taking this year plus I knew it wasn't in the rest of the groups budget.

She heard my dismay, I was about to give up on Free Dining, then she asked if I could hold just a few more minutes. At this point I didn't care anymore so I agreed.

Exactly five minutes later she came back with an offer for Free Dining at Old Key West Villas FOR LESS THAN I WOULD HAVE PAID AT CBR!!!!

I am over the moon!!! I haven't stayed at a deluxe in over 10 years!
