Well tomorrow is the day. The kids are crazily excited and I have to admit, so am I. Besides the last few essentials, we are all packed. This time tomorrow, we will be waiting at the check in line at the airport (after checking in online of course...so I guess that makes it more of a baggage drop).

I'm not sure how often I'll get online while we are away, so I just wanted to wish everyone a great trip. Enjoy the last few days and weeks of your planning.

I just re-worked my list of things left to do (surprisingly short) and things left to pay for (painfully long!) before we leave. The stuff we have to pay for is mostly stuff unrelated to the trip with just really bad timing!!!

Still, I can forget all about it in NINE DAYS!

1 week to go right now we should be arriving in Sydney getting ready for the mad dash for the international airport and immigration

well they are now saying radiator springs racers isn't closing in September

thank goodness for that I was thinking I was going to have to channel my inner Clark Griswold and go all wallyworld crazy on my trip

Very happy to hear that the RSR refurb has been postponed, but I guess those going in November or January won't be so happy:

This is from Mice Chat: Editor’s Note:August 27, 2013: Recalibrating: The one-week September rehab for Radiator Springs Racers has now been postponed. DCA Vice President Mary Niven wisely decided the short notice they were giving September visitors of the closure was going to be a PR nightmare, and she pulled the plug on WDI's plan. The rehab to fix issues in the loading station is being postponed until either early November or January, and this time they will give plenty of notice online once the dates are decided upon.
