September "New Beginnings" Exercise Thread

Hi Everyone! Crazy day here, but I managed to squeeze in some movement - including Mousercize :tigger:with three-year-olds, and a lot of stairs at school open house.

That's 35 new minutes for 315/600 and purple for me. Congrats as well to piglet1979, who has also reached purple!! :rainbow:
(And we're only 437 minutes away from purple as a team!)

Our Disney new beginning for today is the opening of Disneyland Paris (then EuroDisney) on April 12th, 1992 -

Thanks for this video - it’s amazing how much Roy Jr. looks like his dad!
We’d planned to go to DP on our trip to Paris, but it was raining too hard that day.
Adding 30 minutes yesterday, 375/900. Aiming for my halfway mark by Saturday

@piglet1979, I don't mean to "like" the illness - it's just how I keep track of which posts I've entered. Glad you're feeling better!

@BonnieF, I gave you 5 extra minutes (380 instead of 375) because I had you at 350 before. Let me know if I'm off!

20 minutes for me (335/600) and the team is almost to 4000 minutes! (Just 53 to go :cheer2:.)

Our new beginning for today is Disney's entry in professional hockey on October 8th, 1993:

Congratulations to Twilight Sparkle on reaching Promising Pink!!! :rainbow:

:cheer2: The team is only 148 minutes from Possibilities Purple,

and our new beginning for today is Disney's entry onto Broadway,
with Beauty and the Beast opening at the Palace Theatre on April 18, 1994.

NOTE - Ignore the weather warning! These are old clips from the Tony awards show:

Hi Everyone! Sorry for the late post - we were away at a college open house today.

The good news is, that gives me a lot of walking minutes! I'm estimating 90 minutes total, which puts me at 445/600.

And I'm happy to report that the team all together has reached Possibilities Purple!!! :rainbow:

Today's Disney Beginning is the opening of Blizzard Beach, on April 1st, 1995:

And some Blizzard beach trivia:
  • The water at Blizzard is heated year-round between 75 to 80 degrees, with the exception of the melting snow in the ice cave of Cross Country Creek.
  • Teamboat Springs is the world’s longest family raft ride. Up to six can ride per raft.
  • In 2012, the park joined 500 host locations to help set the Guinness World Record for the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson.

30 each Friday and today, so 440/900. I’ll take that extra 5 minutes- chalk it up to fuzzy math :)

I remember taking the kids to see Beauty and the Beast on Broadway. It was wonderful! The scene where the Beast transforms was incredible! I never understood why it didn’t continue the way The Lion King did. Maybe they felt it didn’t have the same universal appeal.
I’ve never been to BB, but the forecast for our trip is positively Sahara- like, so maybe this time!

15 minutes for me (460/600).

The team stands at 4,662 minutes (54% of original total, 73% if Daddys Princess decided not to play after all - I PM'd but haven't heard back).

Today's Disney beginning is the town of Celebration:

Has anyone been there?

DH and I strolled through and saw a movie there years ago (back when stadium seating for theaters was new. ) I think it would be a neat place to live.
