We will be arriving on September 1 and staying at BV till Saturday 9/3. After that we will be sailing with DCL for 7 days. We will return on Saturday the 10th to take in the last 2 days of the annual EPCOT pin celebration. Our return stay will be at Saratoga Springs before returning home on 9/11.

We are looking to eat at the new Irish Pub being built at Pleasure Island and breakfast at Whispering Canyon Cafe (great breakfast but no characters) and maybe a good lunch at the Biergarden.

Thought I would answer here. The Pin Celebration at Epcot is WDW's BIGGEST pin event of the year. It's a three day event....9/9-9/11 and they'll be lots of fun and surprises there for pin collectors of ALL ages !!!

We are traveling with our 2 DD's that are the ages of 7 and 2. This is my oldest 5th time and my youngest 2nd time at WDW. We take our vacations very slow!!

While I know this is the theme park board, I thought I'd add some variety to the itineraries posted and share ours:

Sat 9/17: Leave Columbus, Ohio at at 6:00 AM (can you BELIEVE I actually WANTED to leave that early?!?!)
8:20 - Arrive and hop on the bus to Port Canaveral
11-1 - Get on board, check on dining rotation/seating time, then head to stateroom 7058 (Deck 5 with private verandah!!!!!)
Relax until sailaway and lifeboat drill
Do a collective DCL SUN dance to send away hurricanes!
8:30 - Dinner (I hope (IH)) at Parrot Cay (IH)

Sun 9/18: Day at sea - I LOVE DCL!!!
Play, play, play all day, all day, all day
6:00 PM - The Golden Mickeys (evening show)
8:30 - Dinner (IH) in Lumiere's for formal night!

Mon 9/19: Day at sea
AM - character breakfast
Play, play, play all day, all day, all day
sometime in the AM - brunch at Palo
6:00 PM - No more Hercules but Twice Charmed (?)
8:30 - Dinner (IH) in Animator's Palate

Tues 9/20: St. Maarten
1:00 PM - first shore excursion - Shipwreck Cove Snorkel Tour
6:00 - Movie night at sea
8:30 - Pirates of the Caribeean Night in Parrot Cay

kona-kraft Thanks for the reply! I think though at her age (6) this is an event that we will bypass for now lol, at the $75 admission/guest price for only her (as she's the big collector/trader), I'm willing to bet that she rather spend that $$ elsewhere . Have fun all of you other Pin Traders!!

Hi! I'll be at WDW from 9/15-9/19 with two of my sons staying at either the All Star Sports or Coronado Springs... Haven't made an official itinerary yet. I'm waiting for the hours to be posted before I get busy and have my fun!! I know we'll be hopping between all 4 parks and enjoying some afternoon pool time. Hopefully, take advantage of EMH in the evenings (if this continues for Sept.).

It's too early for me to plan yet. Gee, I can't even make up my mind about a hotel, never mind park days.... And can't decide if I want to try ME or if I should just go ahead and rent a car.......

I don't know what my problem is, but I usually have at least a skeleton of a plan by this time. I haven't even created a new word file for this trip yet!! I'll have to get busy on that.

This will be our first trip with the new EMHs in the evenings. I'm looking forward to adjusting our plans to enjoy those.

We'll be there from the 18th - 29th. The first 5 days will be with my MIL. She hasn't gone with us since '99, so we'll plan lot of things for her during the first few days.

which of couse may change depending on hours and EMH. For now, this is the way it goes. We are staying from 8-31 thru 9-8 with 9 day MYW with hopper and plus pack and FREE dining! It is me, DH and DD (13)


Wednesday - August 31st
Depart DTW at 7:05 am - arrive MCO @9:40.
Pick up rental car and head to WL ( first time)
Check in at WL, get settled, explore resort, swim, hopefully nap a bit (we will have to leave our house @ 3 am to get to the airport )
Dinner at Ohana AR 5:00, then off to EMH at MK til midnight.

Thursday - September 1st
Quick breakfast then to MGM for park opening.
Lunch at Sci FI - 1:00 AR
Back to relax at resort
Go to Epcot, AR 7 pm at Le Cellier
Stay for EMH (til midnight)

Friday - Sept 2nd (our anniversary)
Quick breakfast and off to Typhoon Lagoon for the day. Lunch at TL
Back to resort to clean up for dinner at Boma - AR 6:30 pm
Head to DTD to stroll and shop

Saturday - Sept 3rd
Quick breakfast then to Animal Kingdom for EMH
Counter service lunch
Back to resort to relax a bit
Head to FW to stroll and go to HDD for 7:15 show

Sunday - Sept 4th
Head to MK for 8:05 AR at Crystal Palace breakfast
Spend time in MK
Back to resort to relax, swim
Head to MGM for 5:30 AR at Prime Time 50's
Stay at MGM for EMH (til 11:30 ?)

Monday - Sept 5th
Quick breakfast then either Epcot for EMH or AK (not sure yet)
Play at park for most of the day.
Back to resort to relax and 5:30 AR at Whispering Canyon
Head early to Pleasure Island for CC and AC.

Tuesday - Sept 6th
Quick breakfast then to Disney Quest for opening. Spend time here and around DTD. Counter service lunch at Foodworks.
Back to resort to relax
Head to Epcot til close. Counter service dinner here.

Wednesday - Sept 7th (my 40th birthday )
Quick breakfast and to MGM for park opening.
Counter service lunch at MGM
Back to resort swim, relax
5:00 AR at Chef Mickey's
Head to MK for EMH (til midnight ?)

Thursday - Sept 8th
Totally unplanned - If we have stuck to this itenerary we will have 1 table service meal left to use somewhere.
We will go to park of choice and then head back to return rental car and catch 7:40 pm flight home

Friday - Sept 9th
Start planning next trip to Disney

Me,my mom,DD6 and DD1 are going Sept.5-11.It will not be a commando type trip-we are mainly going to do whatever she wants to do and hit the "girl"stuff that the boys don't like.We know that we are returning in Feb. W/ the rest of the family so we don't have to see everything.

5th-leave home @6 and arrive at POP approx.1:00.check in and swim or DTD.Dinner @1900 Park Fare @5:00
6th-,MK, CRT @10:20.We will stay at MK until the girls want to leave then swim.
7th-breakfast in room,EPCOT,lunch @ Le Cellier @ 12:00
8th-breakfast in room,MK,may come back for lunch and swim,MK for evening and dinner @ CP
9th-AK,breakfast @ Donald's @ 10:30 .May eat at Boma @7:00
10th-breakfast in room,MGM,Prime Time Cafe @12:00.
11th-Drive home.

We are going to go to the parks when they open and stay until the girls want to leave.My DD1 sleeps very well in the stroller so it depends on my DD6 and the heat.

scoutsmom!!! I called the catering event at WDW and they will get back to me either today or tomorrow for information for the Illumination Dessert Gathering. Gave then 2 dates Sept. 27th or 28th. Dseesrt gathering will meet at 7:30PM LOCATION would be either infront of France or Italy. Nothing is confirmed yet but this are the info she have in hand. The 27th is exactly 95 days away from today. And all I got are this names who might be interested. We have a minimum of 20 guest to have a Dessert Gathering, As I said thats all the info I got for this is also the 1st time I am doing this I usually was just the attendee OK will keep you posted!
