September Goers...

Thank-you for that cheery thought....

Care to give any further details that, what reports have you been reading? I have been keeping an eye on the weather and everyday just looks the same as it always does 'Scattered T-Storms' - typical tropical weather for this time of year.

Rather than post such a negative one line comment, why not back it up with what you have seen. Your view of bad weather could be simply the normal daily storm or it could mean a full scale Hurricane is set to hit.

I like to come on these forums to excited myself about our holiday in less than a week.

Negative news should come with a happy disney spin on it!

Haha! Sorry!

I've been checking Accuweather daily, and there's more rain logo's than anything else!

Happy spin? At least it wont be so hot? Nothing can 'dampen' spirits in the happiest place on earth? ('scuse the pun...)!

Thanks for posting the links :)

I'll check again on Friday before we go. I never trust weather reports too much - we had some awsome weather on the SouthCoast of England last weekend - really hot BBQ weather it was not predidcted and came as a surprise.

As long as there is some sun on the rain shower days I'll be happy:)

As you say - happiest place on earth (having done DLP in sub zero I am sure we will cope!)

What do you have planned - we arrive on the 5th - although we have booked to go to Busch Gardens on 9th

Would also love evening on 11th to be good as we are doing MNSSHP

We're doing MNSSHP on the 15th.

The 5th is our first full day and also our anniversary. A suprise planned for the morning, which will be available in my trip report when Im back.

The 9th, we doing Discovery Cove!!

That looks like normal Florida weather to me :confused3 at this time of year there will usually be heavy rainstorms in the afternoon.

::yes:: and it'll still be as hot as the face of the sun! THAT'S why there are storms in the first place - the incredible humidity.

DH and I were checking the storm forecasts last night and all looks good so far. He works for an american insurance company and scarily knows too much about tracking them. :confused3

http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ :thumbsup2

Do the storms last long? Can they spoil or write off a day?

Absolutely not, unless your verrrrry unlucky! Usually last around 10/15 mins, absolute rain pour like buckets being emptied over your head...:rotfl:....just get under shelter, you will soon see the steam rising from the floors and storm OVER!

I go every year, usually more than once a year and have never had a write off day because of the rain! :thumbsup2

Have fun! Accuweather is always a good one to follow, the one we usually check out for the 15 day forecast, usually fairly accurate! :)

you will find that what is on the forecast on u.s.tv like here, doesnt happen sometimes- well most of the time.so i wouldnt worry about the weather at all.:thumbsup2
