well I havent posted in a bit for a number of reasons, sadly my amount of exercise hasnt increased. I got the flu....now I have a skin infection on my left leg and its painful to walk on it and to top it off Rita is getting ready to hit. (I'm here in Houston) So I am sure I will be losing power in the next day and who knows when I will get it back.
All I can say is that my leg better get better with the anitbiotics the doc gave me and the storm recovery better be quick..my trip to Disney is only 15 days away!! and I will be most upset if I cant go and enjoy it because I really need a vacation. I'm praying for pixie dust to blow the storm away
Monkeypants, I'm sending prayers and pixie dust your way! These hurricanes are getting scarier and scarier.
Amy, thanks for keeping track of our totals. I can't believe this is the last week. I'm at 770/1000: 25 minute walk on the beach last evening, 45 minutes of weight/core training, 20 minutes of cardio.
I am only at 690/1000, so I might not make my goal, but that is still a heck of a lot of exercise for formerly totally sedentary me! Is anyone else amazed at the goals we now are setting for ourselves? Am hoping to count some minutes for all the time I'll spend on my feet tomorrow helping to run a pancake breakfast and walking around the theatre district in NY on Sunday!
Had to get the 'ol rear in gear to make this one! 3/4 to goal with 3/4 weeks down, I'd say I might make it! This is, by far, the most consistent exercizing I've done.
Put me down for 750/1000.
