I am looking for some previous people who sailed in September on the transatlantic cruise, I am doing it in 2016 and am interested in some trip reports and details of what the weather would be like etc. (I cant find any on the trip report page)

We are travelling with 17 month old twins and currently in an ocean view room and just wondering if we should upgrade to a veranda or not.

Thanks in Advance!!

We were on the Westbound Transatlantic in September. The weather was beautiful, I think we had one afternoon of rain on the cruise. The WBTA in 2016 will be colder since it is travelling a more northern route. We live in Nova Scotia and the weather is nice in September but a bit cool, around 20 degrees celsius.

We had an inside room and it was fine. I would probably want an oceanview room at least for us again. If you are spending some time in your room, I am guessing you will if you are travelling with 17 month olds, I would lean toward a verandah.

I have done 2 prev WBTA - in 2011 and 2014 and am currently booked on the 2016. The weather has been great previously, but those cruises did end in Port Canaveral and San Juan, so as a PP noted, it could be a little chillier on this cruise.

Our first cruise we were in an OV and the 2nd one we were in a balcony. My DM really enjoyed the balcony because she had mobility issues. We used it also, but we loved our first cruise with the big window also. The only thing is, my kids were older. With 17 mos old twins, you might really use the balcony a lot after they go to sleep.
