September discounts

Does anyone remember if Disney offered any type of discount in September other than the free dining? If so, could you get the free dining plus a room discount? I am trying to decide between October and September 2007. I know that with the code offered this October, I could have saved around $400 on my package. This is about what I would spend on dining for 6 days, so if there is no other discount for September other than the free dining, then I think that I would come out about the same. Thanks for any info!

Thanks for the link! After looking at the above thread, it sounds like if you get the free dining, then you have to pay rack rates for the room. Is this correct? Thanks for any info!
