We are planning to visit on Sept 17-24 of this year, any advice on crowds? Should we pay the money for the express pass or is it not needed???
Thanks
Karen :cool1:

You probably get a better response if you ask this question on the Universal board. A lot of nice people that will be happy to answer your questions!! :)

Ok thanks....
Anyone know what to expect for crowds Sept 17-24? Do we need to purchase the express pass???
Thanks
Karen

I only go in September/October and I've never waited in a line longer than 30 minutes. Most are more like 10 - 15. The themeing is so incredible that you don't even think about the line anyway.

No need for express. September is one of the best months to go along with late February. The kids are back in school, and the parks are a ghost town.

I say that based on the fact that you are just about the only other person I've seen that is going the same week that we are. Maybe it will just be our two families!! *laugh*

Seriously, I've been told its a good week. My kids are out of school that week, but not many school systems have that week off, so we are hoping for a good time.

Went last Sept sometime between the 10th and 20th (can't remember which day)... it would have been a COMPLETE waste of money to buy the express pass. there were NO lines in the morning and very short lines in the afternoon.

Have fun!

My first Orlando trip was end of Sept to beginning of Oct and we made 3 visits to US/IOA and the longest queue was at Ripsaw Falls at IOA with 30 mins but this was way, way above our average queueing time
