September Closures?

We may look at changing our plans for 2018, normally go 1st two weeks in August but with the cost of air fare coming from the UK we are looking at September.

Our worry is if we go in September a lot of things may be down for refurbishment , is this the case normally with September?

Just don't go the first half of Sept. If it is anything like this year! After Labor Day 2017 through the 15th:
Haunted mansion, RBT, Monsters inc, soarin, Space mountain, possible parts of Cars land and bugs land, Goofy's sky school, will all be down for orverlays or getting refurbished. Also, combined with shorter hours, less staff, early closing of DCA on the 14th(usually a cast member party goes on this week every year)

I don't know what 2018 will look like, but
We call it "black hole week". Read the thread for more details. After Mid Sept, it usually looks fine though due to Halloween overlays being opened!

Yikes! Thanks for the heads up. We have ressies for 9/9 and 9/10 and love many of those things.

I just got a call from a Cast Member about my Minnie and Friends reservation-- Plaza Inn is also closed 11-13 Sep. Guess we'll have to do breakfast on the 14th!
