Fantasmic had better be operating while I am there or Disney will have one unhappy Diva on their hands! I would hate for my ds to miss it. I think it will be one of his favorite things of the trip! So far it IS on the schedule for the dates I am there....crossing the fingers that it stays put!

Well, I know I will be keeping my fingers crossed until we've all gotten to see it. That should help right At least it's still showing up on the calendar. I try to rationalize everything, even if it makes no sense. Right now I am telling myself that if it was a mistake in the scheduling and it wasn't supposed to be on there that they would ahve removed it by now. So now it's just a question of them not stopping it for other reasons. And that's just about all I can tell myself these days. I could honestly care less if it means seeing the new dragon or not. I just want to watch Fantasmic!

All of the information that I have seen is that it closes on the 10th. It's a shame that it looks like the entertainment is going to be light during that week - especially when it's coinciding with the Expo and you would think there would be a bunch of people attending that who would like to get some park time in as well. I dunno. I keep hearing rumors that Fantasmic! will be dark for the rest of September after Labor Day, but for now it's currently on the entertainment schedule for September. I have to say after all of the disappointments I have had so far while planning this trip, the worst would be there being no Fantasmic! I have no desire to see the Magical fireworks as I much preferred RDCT and with no parade worth seeing either. This is why I generally don't go to Disneyland for my birthday. Stupid September/off season.

i can't believe space mountain and riverboats will be closed starting the day i get there! ugh, i've never been on the disneyland versions :/ it just makes no sense that they wouldn't put it off til after the 13th. i kind of wanna give them a call now and be like hey listen, as a personal favor LOL but idk :/ and fantasmic! idk if it's any different in DLR vs WDW but i'd still like to see it. It's a shame for them to close so much in the off season, esp for the birthday people like you.

Riverboat is just closed for just 3 days. They wouldn't have enough time to switch HM and SM over to holiday mode by the 25th if they closed it any later. Fantasmic is showing on the schedule so hopefully it isn't going dark for our trip (we're there from 11-16). PH=Park Hopper
