DH and I are doing a mommy and daddy trip only
...and leaving the kiddos at home, for DH's Bday. We will hopefully be there the 17-23. Still tentative on the dates on account of work. Hope to meet up with anyone going then.
Thanks. Doesn't everything depend on the area you live, lol. We did get lucky with my cat though. When I first took her to get checked they gave us a high and low estimate of where the cost could be depending on how involved the procedure ended up being and we came out under the low projection she gave, but it was still over $600 which just makes you want to pull your hair out. I spent less than that while I was in DL in March.Sorry to hear about your cat and your sister's cat. I hope yours gets better! I agree about the vets being expensive. It seems to depend on where you live, too.
There's never anything wrong with DL alone! I had to go a few times alone and it was nice not to have to wait on anyone else. Oh, I'm so mean. If I do get to go I'd love to see ya there. Still trying to pick possible meets during the time I'm there. My thought right now is getting us all some Mint Juleps because I am an addict!I'll be going Sept 8-13 (mainly for the D23 Expo, but I did buy park tickets for all 6 days - well, 5 for 3), and staying at the Disneyland Hotel. I'll be going alone, but I'd have a blast if I met some other Disney fans to hang out with
It looks like I will be there in early September without the family this time. Partially for work and partially to meet up with an old friend.
Not sure of the exact dates or where I'm staying yet but I'll post when I know.

I'm fuming, let me tell you. Still waiting to hear back from the other driver's insurance to see if they are covering the cost of the repairs, because I was not at fault.
It's been so annoying lately - so many things that could be deterrents to DLR a second time this year. I was in a minor car accident on Monday and there's about $1200 worth of damage to my car.
Nothing like a $500 deductible to squeeze you free of all your Disney money. Well, not really, but it would set me back pretty far. At least it's not a must-fix and doesn't pose any safety concerns.

Still about 20 days away from being able to make PS's for our meals. I'm still debating between Ariel's Grotto and Goofy's Kitchen for my actual birthday meal to celebrate with my friends on 9/10. Decisions, decisions.
