Woot! We're doing a quick trip on Sunday, 9/13.

Yeah!!!! Today we decided to take a detour to DLR/DCA for one day while we're in CA for a road trip.

Hopefully most of the crowds will be at the D23 Expo instead of at the Parks.

Heck, this whole trip is now my reward for surviving last night I work overnight (10PM - 6:30AM) on Saturdays and last night the girl I work with just didn't show up so I had to do everything myself and I actually managed to pull it off somehow. I think I might already have a little 'magic' up my sleeve.

Now it's just a itty bitty 4 1/2 hour shift and my family birthday dinner and we'll be on our way!!

Oh my!!! I am so laughing on the ground. I am married to a CDO myself!!! I so get this. Got to tell Hubby.

BTW: 17 more days to until VGC opening and a one bedroom with my CDO DH!

Here are our LGMH's

cute! i made mine tonight as well - im wondering how im going to attach them to something (either my backpack or maybe a landyard)

Some of the highlights of our Disneyland Adventure:
1. Check-in at the Disneyland Hotel; as we were checking in, who
do we see but…Pluto! Sitting with the little ones (and some not
so little ones) in front of the TV (entry area). Pluto was sitting on the
couch watching cartoons…now Princess Aurora arrives, along
with Aladdin, Chip and Dale they stayed all the time we were checking-in and
played with the children… Our DGS was so excited… soooo cool!
Our rooms were ready and they were BIG, Dreams Tower, DTD view.
Two queens and a couch…connecting rooms. Great Housekeeping!
2. Light crowds; SO MANY rides were walk on…some days they didn't
use the fast passes machines. We had a 10 minute wait for Nemo!
Toy Story Mania was a walk on…so as soon as the ride was over
we just went back and did it all over again…
3. Napa Rose, this was our birthdays dinner, we were given desserts
on the house…crème brulee…our plates read "Happy Birthday"
We did premium seating for Fantastmic, front row center,
got in line about 7:15pm for the 8:00 check-in…WE SAW THE DRAGON.
SO worth it.

All in all this was a magical trip…Yes! it was hot and humid…did not bother
us, we went to the parks early…swam in the afternoon and back to the parks
in the evening…
Tired...happy...and Laundry got to go...jc

Ahhhhhh! I'll totally be on the road in less than 24 hours! For all of us going this week - it's finally here!!!

Now off to work. Then I have my pre-trip pre-birthday dinner. Then as much sleep as I can get.

hehee i love sparkles too and i put some packing tape over it to waterproof it so i hope you can still see the glitter sparkling. if you do see it, don't hesitate to say hi!
