September 9, 2006 - Who's with us?

Hello all -

We (myself and my fiance - well husband for the cruise - it is our honeymoon) are taking the 9/9/2006 Magic to the Western Carribbean. Anyone with us?

Also, we are starting at Disney World for 5 nights at the Grand Floridian - we are hamming it up cause we will prolly never get to go there again due the expense. We are at the world 9/4-9/9. A couple of questions for you:

1. What is the deal with the luggage service - I hear they pick up your luggage directly from the airport and it's magically in your room when you check in?

2. If we buy liquor/wine in Orlando, are we allowed to board the cruise with it to keep it in our room?

3. Are sodas in meals/bars charged for on the cruise or just alcohol? Never been on a cruise before.


Would love to hook up with fellow cruisers during that voyage. Please PM me if you are interested in communicating.

If you let then know your info before hand they will send you tags to put on your bags, and they will pick then up, and in your room appx. 4 hours or so later.

2. If we buy liquor/wine in Orlando, are we allowed to board the cruise with it to keep it in our room?

Yes you can bring it on the ship and keep it in your room, what you buy on the ship or inport they hold till the last night of the cruise.

3. Are sodas in meals/bars charged for on the cruise or just alcohol? Never been on a cruise before.

The soda's are free at the sit down meals (lunch/Dinner) and at the drink staion on deck 9 by the Mickey pool, soda's from the bar and room service cost $
