OK, I'm a ditz - but I can't get the group to come up in the search request... I just put the search in the box at the top of my facebook newsfeed page, right?

Hi All!! We just got off of the Fantasy and had to book another, especially once we found out is was ending in San Diego, we live a couple hours north! We have also convinced my parents and sister(her hubby and two lil ones) to join us! I was planning on flying into Seattle and you mentioned the train which sounds like a great idea. Any tips you have for what to see in Vancouver before we sail would be helpful too.
We also hope to do FE, it was a blast!

I would love to help plan an FE for this cruise.

There is so much to do in Vancouver...and depending on the finances, you can do as much or as little as you want.

Welcome by the way...and if you are into facebook, let me know and I can post the link again to our facebook group. No need to friend anyone, just be part of the group.

Hi Everyone!

I'll be joining you! I had a great time on the Vancouver to LA repo cruise in 2012 and am very much looking forward to this one to San Diego in 2014!

I've put in a request to join the Facebook group.

Hi all,

I'm sorry, but Mom and I are changing to a different cruise next fall. We decided to go back to the Bahamas on the Wonder 5-night double-dip. I'm sorry to miss the cruise - but I know you'll have a great time!

New to this board, but it seems to be recommended in various searches around the web.

This will be our first cruise, but I am excited, and need ways to keep the interest going for the next 16 months! :cool1:

We are from southern Alberta, and it will be myself, hubby, our two boys who will be 10 and 13 for the cruise, and hubby's parents.

Wow, a Disney Cruise as your first cruise...way to set the standard HIGH LOL. I have a facebook page for the group if you are interested. Let me know if you can't find the link in among the posts here.

Alberta...nice to see a fellow Canadian. Where in Alberta? We have friends and family in Airdrie and Calgary. Love Alberta and if we didn't live so close to the Ocean, that would be our second choice. Much better for jobs, etc.

Cruising is a blast. I have done many cruises with a number of different cruiselines. This will be my 4th Disney cruise and i LOVE them. The repo cruises make Disney affordable.

Welcome aboard, and my name is Stefani

We are in Strathmore - other side of Calgary from Airdrie.

We have been to Disneyland (twice - once for our Honeymoon, then about 12 years later with the kids) and Disneyworld. I still love Disney and would love to head back to Disneyworld, but hubby is only lukewarm to that idea. He wants each vacation to be different. I was intrigued by the idea of a cruise, but the Disney hook dragged me far enough to shop prices. I couldn't believe how much less this one was than others, and when I showed DH, he said book it, and then said we could pay for his parents to come along too! Trying to drag a few other relatives along too, my side as well as his, but most of them can't commit this far out.

I have sent you a request on the facebook page.

So far I have my parents coming along and a cousin and his family, but hoping for more. In April 2011, I had 18 family members along with us on a Disney repo cruise...lots of fun.

So I have been poking here and there all over, and the topic of Fish Extenders comes up quite regularly. I think it has already been mentioned in this thread too.

It sounds like tons of fun and something I would really enjoy, but I think one thread somewhere mentioned hundreds of people in one exchange? Is it normal to have this many people involved? Would I have to find a few hundred small items if I signed up? What is the usual size of an exchange, so I might know what to expect?

I have only been involved in one FE our last cruise and I will gladly head up one FE for this cruise, but I will cap it at 15 - 20 groups. You can either do a gift for each group or for everyone. A group would be a family group. I did gifts for each group, so that meant I had to do 20 gifts for our FE. But you do what you feel is best. I made my gifts, but I got a lot of gifts that where bought. We did smallish gifts because we had to pack them in our suitcase. We did hand made coasters. I can post a pic of what I made on the facebook page. This time, I have an idea of what we will be making already because I am making them as a gift for our anniversary party. I like the idea of doing Disney specific gift, but I don't think it has to be.

Oh, thank you. That sounds a lot more do-able!
