Any insight as to the temperature INSIDE... cabins, restaurants, theaters? Don't want to overpack on the sweaters and pants if I don't need to. Talking about packing... yes!!

The room you can adjust the temp. I'm fine temp wise in the dinning rooms. I think one sweater would get you thru the 3 nights.

Thanks Sanddune. I was just reading a trip report where they couldn't get the cabing temp about 69 degrees and said was freezing in theater. Just wanted to make sure that wasn't the norm. Appreciated all the helpful advice and I'll be looking for those Mickey gloves!

You must have been reading my mind about Pirates - I was so disappointed that only the longer cruises have the Pirate Party - I almost switched cruises just for that reason. I think beads could be a great idea. Maybe we can all wear some sort of LONG STRAND OF COLORFUL BEADS the first day and as we recognize them we can meet and greet. I have mardi gras beads from the NJ Showboat Casino I could wear. Maybe before we set sail he post a remark on this sight of what color beads we will wear so we can look out for eachother - Sounds like a great idea - SAVVY

hey there folks! after freaking out sat night, UPS tried to deliver our docs this morning, but nobody was here. i guess we'll get them tomorrow.
this will be our first cruise ever, and we have 2 great reasons why: 1/ m b-day is 9/7, and we'll be getting married at the poly on 9/4.
so keep an eye out for my bride and I at match you mate. that seems like a good enough time.

hAm53! Thanks for coming over. Congrats on the big events.Will you be wearing the wedding ears???? Hopefully kimcomeau will find us as well.
The decks are pretty windy so you really do need a sweater or light jacket.Especially if you are on deck at night
Our first cruise last Sept, I was being weaned off a blood pressure med as it caused a really irritating dry cough.I made many trips up to deck 9 in my pjs to get some tea.Amazing how empty the decks are late at night.They have a nice tea box they take out at night.
My last cruise meet, we made tentative plans to meet and we even had our room #s but sad to say none of us met at all. We all regretted it after we got home. Found out we were all practically next to each other at the sail away party.
I guess I can stop hoping for a Florida resident rate now being the cruise is so close.Hoep everyone gets their docs soon.............

It's Wednesday, a mild day in Philadelphia and I can't keep my mind off this cruise. I can't believe it is getting so close. No doc's yet (I booked through Disney Vacation Club) hAm53,you must be so EXCITED - a Disney wedding and the cruise - what a magical start to a magical life together. Make sure you eat at OHanna's at the Poly. It's great.
Hey guys, I found green mardi gras strand of beads to wear and it has a shamrock hanging from it - (yes, I'm irish) I'll be wearing it upon boarding so keep an eye out for me.

Hi everyone ! Now that I have read every book on Disney and have all my plans made thought I'd see if there were any cruise posts regarding our cruise and low and behold found you. I am so excited as this is my first cruise and our first Disney trip with my DS Connor. We are leaving my DD Katelyn with my parents ,she is just 9 months and I know it would be ok to take her but I really needed some special time with Connor - he is starting Kindergarten the day we get back . Looking forward to meeting all of you. Anxiously waiting for my Docs as well. Have fun packing!

arlenesp ~ yup, we have personalised wedding ears. keep an eye out!
IamAnniM ~ we're eating at 'ohana for dinner w/ my parents (who haven't been to WDW since 1991) our first night, and b-fast there on my b-day. last trip, the bartenders at the tambu lounge started to recognize us.
the ups guy left a note this afternoon saying he'd drop them off my work address tomorrow. so i guess i'll get them manana.
how big are these things that they need ups to deliver them? is it a whole book, or just some papers?

hAm53, it is a small folder abit bigger than a checkbook.All pertinent info is in there and most important the luggage tags.Last year they had a problem getting them out early and many were getting them days before. Some even had to pick them up at the port.
We saw quite a lot of special ears on our last cruise, so we'll have to watch for you.
My DH will be taking his scooter on board again and you will definately see him scooting out to the adult beach at castaway cay.Watch out if you do, he is a terrible driver!!!!
Well I need some sleep, tomorrow is my friday at work and can't wait for my days off.It's been a rough week.

We told our girls about the cruise just this past weekend. They were so excited about... the pirate costumes. They think the cruise sounds fun but the pirate costumes were just too hard to top. They have no idea!!

We got a few pictures with the characters on pirate night. They dress up in Pirate costumes as well.Stitch is my favorite.
Our first cruise in last Sept, we went to lunch in Parrot Cay , and a lot of characters came in the room.Goofy and Max came to the table and clowned with the kids. My grandaughter was so overwhelmed and these kids don't get excited about anything.And then Captain Mickey came around.In fact I got lost trying to find the Palo ressies and Capt. Mickey personall escorted me. I was so embarrassed. Too bad noone took a picture.Well today is my Friday and I'm off to my 10 hour shift.Catch ya'll later.
