I thought I would mention this here about pin trading on the Exchange Board. 4 times a year, Meriweather hosts a pin exchange. Children, adults can participate, and each exchange involves sending 2 Disney pins to trade. These do not have to be new pins, just in good shape, not scrapers.

You use the US mail to send the pins. You can sign up for as many trades as you wish.

I've done this many times. Sometimes you get ones you will for sure keep, sometimes you get ones you'll be passing along.

Work and school was canceled today because of the storm. I'm running around like a nut packing. Trying to do that with a 5 year old and 9 month old in the house is less than ideal...

Good morning!! Only 6 days away until we are off sailing to the Bahamas!! I am so excited!! I get my candy today for the cruise and then tonight me and my grandmother go out to get our nails painted for the cruise!

As I am new to all this, is it norma for threads to be this active? Have you started any threads in the past? How active were they prior to the cruise? Is there usually activity afterwards? Just curious.

Extremely abnormal for a Cruise Meets thread to be this active and have this many posts. There is a thread for every single cruise on every single ship. I spent some time a few days ago, looking through the threads for the Dream. I only found 1 with over 1,000 posts. That's 1 thread out of literally hundreds. I started the thread for our September 5, 2015 cruise and didn't get anywhere near the number of posts.
