So I'm finally leaving Knoxville TN on Friday to head back to Tampa area and I'm driving. Guess where I'll be? The same place as Hermine. I'll be smack dab in the middle of that thing most of Friday. But I have to get home so I can get my Cruise On!!

Thanks. Well I need at least 1 day to pack. I may leave a little earlier. If it gets bad, I'll stop. If it gets even worse, I'll just have work get me a hotel. I think I'll be ok. I defiantly have some motivation to get home!!

Has anyone gotten the prepaid photo packages? Worth it or not? We bought the all digital so we can get in pics with our kids, but I'm scared if they don't turn out great, then we'll have missed opportunities without using our own camera. So many decisions... Hah.

Also, some of us plan to have breakfast in Cabanas on Debarkation day. Come up around 7:30.

Today is September 1 so the last day if you want to exchange a new pin in the Fish extenders!

Also, if getting a group together for possible trivia sound like fun, post here, come to the breakfast meet, or send me a conversation with your cabin. We can call cabin to cabin on board. We do not use the wave phones, but does the app allow you to message each other? I an mot sure.

I got the idea a few days ago, that I collect pins, and if there were others, I would keep a list of folks who would exchange a new pin with someone. I said that I would definitely close that list on Sept. 1. No one has signed up for it, but I still would be opened to doing it. If you can think of something relatively easy and set a deadline, some here may join, but some of us are nearly finished packing!

My brother got the CD back in '12 and said it was worth it. We signed up for the (now) thumb drive. You can have a CM take a photo with your camera as well but I've seen side by side comparisons and the pro photos are much better. You have to understand, they have their $600+ camera on a tripod at the perfect angle with the perfect lighting setup on the staged shots, also there will be other candid photos of you throughout your sailing from dinner, from the aquaduck, etc. Those photos are all on your account sorted by facial recognition. I figure it this way, I'll check the photos before the end of the cruise or the cut off time, if I don't think it's worth it, I believe I can get a refund.

From what I've read, yes you can send text messages free from the app while onboard.

Yes, the refund policy is good. We have our SLR camera to take our own pictures but have read that the photographers on board aren't professionals, but CMs who take a quick course on how to take pics. That being said I guess we could still ask someone to take them with our camera as well just in case. With a 2&5 yr old hopefully they'll both look at one camera at the same time!

Yes. I am in Tampa. It really isn't bad here. Flooding is the main concern and the reason for the closures.
