I'm so jealous of your Cabana . But, I continue to look daily, and multiple times at that.
We got our FE on order, Magnets on order, Still need to figure out what to do for FE gifts.
We do have our Palo reservations made as well as meet and greets and the snorkel package for CC.

Keep trying for that cabana, I read all the time about success stories. You're on top of everything else!

I surpringly booked a last minute vacation on a DCL (our first Disney experience ). My DH can't make it due to work so I'm bringing my 2 year old son and my mother (her first major trip). Although District ey is special in itself I was reading so much on fish extenders and thought it would be cool to participate. Is there a group of fish extenders for the September 5th sailing date yet? TIA!

Bobbiwoz is putting together a Candy/snack FE. We are all gifting candy/snacks that represent where we are from. Sounds fun! We're also on our 1st cruise. Welcome to the club. The "Dreamers", we've (on this thread) have dubbed ourselves.

Are you asking about the Local Candy Exchange?

We use the Fish Extenders to pass out treats from our area. It is customary to include a bit about the history, usually I have found this on the Internet, and usually you pass out things once. You will know how many adults and children will be in each group (cabin or family group) and give enough to share. There is no hard and fast rule, it is the thought that counts. We have been given as little as 2 "rocket pops" and as much as a whole bag of snack sized Hershey candies that were unusual, the gifters lived close to Hershey PA and had access to unique candies.

We have gotten key lime cookies from a FL family, a bag of cheese straws (crackers) from Mississippi and flavored popcorn. We've been doing a Candy, snack exchange for about 10 cruises. Once we only had 3 cabin participants, the most was 32, which I divided into 4 groups of 8.

If you want to participate, please send me a conversation with your cabin number and the make up of your group. If there are allergies, please tell me.

So far, we have 6 family groups represented. I do not expect to get many more, since tomorrow is the end of sign Ups!

I was hoping the kids could see the Fantasy a day early when we go to Cocoa Beach on Sunday, but unfortunately it will be docked and leaving Saturday for 7 day Caribbean.

Still though, can't wait till Sept 5th!! Whoop woop!!
