No kids here! In fact, this just may be our last cruise without kids....we plan on living it up!!!

we have something in common. we hope this is our last cruise without children...we plan on having a good time, and hope to really relax the whole week!. :bounce:

No kids here. Kids are a fine instituton as long as they can go home with their mom and dad at night. To old to start having kids now. We plan on having fun and relaxing in the RAINFOREST.

i have never been to the rainforest or any of the spa activities..hopefully i will get a foot massage this cruise! woohoo!

amy,

hope ya'll have a lot of fun pre-kids, we've never experienced that sensation, but i understand that those without kids have loads of fun on dcl even with a boatload of kids around.

as far as refrigerators go, there is one in the stateroom but it will not cool down drinks, but more or less keeps cold things cool. i have seen discussions on the board that mention bringing softside coolers and requesting ice from steward to make drinks cold, i guess we'll try this out this time, as we weren't real happy with the performance of the fridge in the room.

Out of curiosity, is anyone traveling from MCO to Port and Port to MCO for the cruise and interested in going in on private transportation (such as Happy Limo, FL Tours, etc.) and saving money with us? It is just hubby and I, so getting a town car or limo would not be money saving for us, but if we could get at least two more people to go in on this with us, it would be a money saver for all over the DCL transfers.

Is anyone interested? If so, PM me or send me an email to cruisindisney@aol.com.

We're not going from MCO to Port and back.

But, we are using a towncar service for MCO to WDW resort, WDW resort to Port, Port to WDW resort .... then WDW resort to MCO. Oh man that looks like a lot! lol

Oh well, its been almost two years since I've been to WDW so figured it was worth combining it with the cruise.

We prefer the towncar service because its much more predictable and makes for wiser use of our time even though there are only two of us. It costs us more in terms of dollars, but allows us to make more efficient use of our time.

Sorry, we can't be of help either Melody! We just drive to the port from home on the morning of sailing.

Of course, this time we'll already be on the ship lounging out on deck somewhere and won't have to worry about travel! :hyper:

Oh, for two different and awesome reasons, I am so jealous of both ThreeCircles and paulmc80! :teeth:

Has anyone else not yet received their shore excursion information? Given that the sixty day mark is this coming Tuesday (and Monday is a postal holiday), I am getting antsy!

I Don't know that I'm worried about Shore Excursions selling out. I don't see any of them being that popular. Am I wrong previous Eastern Cruisers? If so, which are most popular?

The only excursions I'd be worried about getting are parasailing at CC and any of the Dolphin excursions.

I'm pretty sure you can just call the excursion desk on that 60-day mark without needing any paperwork from DCL. That's what I've always done. You can get the information directly on disneycruise.com.

What excursions are you all thinking about? We think we're going to try for:

SAN JUAN: Kayak & Snorkel Eco-Adventure OR Seven Seas Snorkeling Beach Adventure

ST. THOMAS: 5-star St. Thomas Snorkel and Beach Adventure OR St. John Eco Hike

CASTAWAY CAY: We'll do the all-day rentals.

I wasn't worried about having the info to call, actually. I'm just eager to get our excursion booked and to get the stuff in the mail (I love getting mail! :)) so that there is tangible evidence that things are getting closer. I did call DCL and they were able to confirm that they showed we were paid in full. They said that if the information didn't come, just take it off the website and call in.

We are going to do the Rum Factory/Old San Juan combination tour in San Juan and are not planning on booking anything in St. Thomas or Castaway Cay. I think we will probably rent bikes on CC, but based on the last cruise we went on there was no problem doing that once we got to CC. I enjoyed snorkeling at CC, but I don't think I got my money's worth out of the rental so I will probably pass on that this time and just enjoy other aspects of the island. Since we will not have DD with us this time, we will probably at least spend a little time at the Adult Beach to check it out.

Any mail (bill or not) that comes from DCL is quite exciting! Just wait until we all start receiving our docs!
