Excellent! Thanks for the info.

Wow! How cool is this? We finally get to sail with the legendary CRSNDSNY of the Dis Boards. :teeth:

Sorry to hear that you and Eb had to change your plans but if it's saving you that much money it's probably worth it in the end. And, you get to sail two months sooner!

Also welcome to Quirky Cruiser!

We have a Disney Magic September 4th Cruise Site with lots of information on all of the crazy cruisers on thie voyage if you want to check it out. Also, feel free to send in your info for the list if you like. ThreeCircles.net.

THANKS for the welcome! :grouphug:

As soon as we have our stateroom information, I'll be able to email you the info for your website. :teeth:

This cruise is going to be here before you know it! We're pretty psyched!

YEAH!

hello new people to the sept 4 cruise. my counter says 70 days to but i know its less than that because we are leaving a few days early. we plan on spending some time at a casino.has anyone been and could you recommend one?
thanks

amy and michael:crazy: (thats how i feel today)

That countdown is starting to go much quicker! :) Went out last night and bought a guide to Eastern and Southern Caribbean Ports to try to finalize our plans for excursions (if any). I think we are going to try to do the Bacardi Rum Factory Tour that also has a tour of Old San Juan. Though I think we could do it on our own, it seems like the excursion might be the better option for us as DW has bad ankles and might be challenged by some of the walking we would have to do on our own with the uneven surfaces and elevation changes the guidebooks all talk about. Plus, we can do more of Old San Juan on our own after the excursion if we want. We are really undecided about whether to go to St. John or just hang around St. Thomas. I think we will probably wait to make that decision until we get on ship. Can't wait to meet our fellow DIS'ers on ship. Have we thought about where and when we might want to meet? The last cruise we went on we all met after the evacuation drill up on Deck 10 overlooking the Sailaway Party. We didn't meet long (because many had the early seating for dinner) but it was nice to put faces with names so that we could talk more as we ran across each other during the week.

Maybe getting together at some point (maybe Promenade Lounge) during our first day at sea?

The first day is so rushed........suggestions?

Hello all!

Of course we simply must have a DIS meet once we board the Magic. It wouldn't be a cruise without one! :D

I'm partial but I think a great time/location for such meets is on the first day, right after the lifeboat drill in the Promenade Lounge. As Melody mentioned, the first day is busy but I find that you have a good 20-25 minutes between the lifeboat drill and the Sail Away Celebration for a meet. Plus, groups can always wonder up to the party together and continue the meet there.

But, were up for anything! If we have lots of suggestions we compile them and place a poll on ThreeCircles.net so that everyone can give their input.

Mike--

I kind of like your idea of doing the rum tour and Old San Juan on your own. On previous visits to ports we've often done the "make your own excursion" thing and just explored.

I think this would be the best time and location.

DH and I are usually early in the line so we head to eat and Palo's ressie. Sometimes we hit the spa for ressies as well but we are very flexible about those times. At that point we usually head for the PL for a 'welcome to vacation' bottle of Fairytale. Also makes the drill a little less boring after 10 times.

Is everyone else going to be busy before the drill? If we're only talking 20 minutes or so - this might be possible.

We're flexible. As long as its not being held during the early seating dinner time we'll make it. :D

We're usually hanging out in the pool or hot tub at this point, so this is possible for us.

Just wanted to express my excitement and anticipation for this cruise in some way.

Just got my final - final payment notice and shore excursion guide.:bounce: :Pinkbounc

I just got an email about the Florida resident rate. It said catagory 9. We are currently booked in a 7. Do you know if they are discounting any other catagory besides 9?

We called and they said Deluxe Ocean view Staterooms and some verandah staterooms. Not sure what category though.
