September 30, 2012 - "To San Francisco and Beyond"

On our January cruise all last minute cabin changes were sorted out at the Promenade Lounge meet up on the first day, that way port upgrades etc. were sorted.

As adnil530 said, make sure you check each room against your list. There are some people that put up FE's that aren't from DIS and some people who are signed up but don't have FE's.

He will not be out of place. My husband and myself hate to dress up. I have just a pants outfit I usually take and believe me lots of people will not be dressed up. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I love to dress up but for hubby it's a hassle. Cocktail-ish is our best compromise :-) Glad to know that'll work...

Thanks, everyone, for advice on delivery logistics!

Hello FE participants...

Here we are at the last day to sign up...I can't believe how quickly the
time has gone by.

A lot of great ideas have been posted in the past couple days about the FE gifts...

On our last cruise we also put the gifts in a separate bag per cabin with
the stateroom #'s on them and then put them in large ziplock bags by deck. We delivered by decks starting from the bottom up. It was very fun to see
how the doors were decorated and the many different fish extenders. I also took my camera and took pictures of all the decorated doors...so many creative people!

There is a great map of the Disney Wonder Deck Plan here on the DIS...highlight ships above and on the drop down menu click on deck plans. I printed out the
decks where there were participants on and brought that with us. It worked out great!

Have a wonderful day everyone!

It's been seven years since we cruised DCL and it was a 3 night cruise so I don't know how this will work on our cruise. I am trying to figure out our plans in SF and I don't want my girls to miss the show dinner in AP. I was looking at a trip report that someone had posted for the Wonder MR and she scanned a page that showed the show dinners to be the first night on the ship and then the rest on the sea days. Somewhere else I read it would be your first dinner in AP. Anyone have an idea which it would be or will I need to wait for the first CA coastal cruise to make plans? Any feedback would be appreciated.

It's the first night you eat in Animator's. So each rotation will experience it. It will be on a night when you are not having a special menu.

On our last cruise my husband and I started at the bottom of the ship and worked our way up, marking each room off of our list... It did not take us long at and was fun to roam the ship in the middle of the night ;-)... This time we will have to try and be sneaky during the day; Our little girl is not a night owl.

We are getting so excited :-).

We did the same thing. It was the best way to work off all the good food!

We did the same things too... by BFF and her daughter plus me and mine sneaking around at midinght .... very fun

Don't let this happen to you...

My mom and I are each doing FE.

Now I just have to figure out what I want to give out. I will have to think of some ideas for my mom.

ETA; I will have to make a FE holder. My puppy ate the last one I made.

Last year when we were in Alaska, our AP show was our second night in AP.:confused3
My husband was very concerned we would not have it.

I heard a rumor that the seal lions have left pier 39????

Please tell me this is not true; it was one of my favorite things to do in San Fran.

Here's a link to the Sea Lion Cam at Pier 39, when I looked just now, I didn't see any.

Oh my goodness I can't believe I never knew about this web cam.... Better yet maybe it's a good thing I have never known. I can only imagine the time I would spend watching these guys.... My fingers are crossed they will be there when we are. I know I sound like a goober, but I just loved watching them and hearing the barks (the things that make this land locked girl happy :-d)

I was on my phone when I wrote this and I think it came out funny. The show in AP will be the first night you are in AP when you don't have show menu. The show menu is when all the restaurants serve the same menu. For Ex. Pirates in the Caribbean. So you may actually dine in AP before the AP show because you have a show menu. Does that make sense? I hope so!?!:goodvibes

Is it to late to get in on the fish extenders? If not please add us, my wife and myself (Paul and Katharina) and our two children (Gretchen (2) and Lionel (1/2)).

See you soon!

Hi Christi...

I received your PM and will make a note on the FE spreadsheet that you and your Mom will be participating separately and each of you will be giving out your own FE gift.:goodvibes

1st time poster AND cruiser here! It will just be my daughter (Alexis,4) and I (Tyler, 24.) If it's not too late, please sign us up! I will need some more info as I'm not exactly sure what fe is, but from what I have gathered so far, it sounds like my daughter will enjoy it.
