I think Woody's West Coast Round Up sounds great because it doesn't single out any city

So is everyone going to dress up for Pirate night? Do you dress up for dinner already or just the party?

It seems to vary from cruise to cruise on our first (4 night) we felt like one of the few who made any effort on the second (7night) lots of people went all out. That one was way more fun. Either way, we'll definitely be dressing up! pirate:

As for costumes at dinner, well, the dinner is kind of pirate- themed itself, so you certainly shouldn't feel out of place. We always go to it dressed in our pirate gear and get some good photos with our servers! Plus, if you want to get a good spot for the show you don't want to be rushing down to change while people are snatching up the good spots!

I agree... We always dress Pirate for both. With the dinner being a Pirate theme as well, it makes for some great photos. Arrrrr pirate:

PACK EARLY as Pirate Night is Saturday... you don't want to end up in the Brig packing while everyone else is at the Party! party:

Does anyone else find it a little odd that Pirate Night is scheduled for the last night aboard ship? I'm thinking on the 7-Day cruises we have done aboard the Magic, the last night there is always a Farewell Show in the Walt Disney Theater and a bon-voyage event in the Atrium Lobby with all the Princesses and Disney Characters. ::MickeyMo:: ::MinnieMo :stitch2: pluto:

I find this really odd. As this is the night we say farewell to characters. And pirate night always has a big buffet after the pirate show. This is beyond odd and this is my 8th Disney cruise. Are we 100% sure on this. It make packing a lot harder too.

My vote is Woody's West Coast round up :) Sounds like a grand ole time :)

The airlines may have an abnormally large number of Pirates flying on Sunday! pirate:

I'm going to give a quick call and see what I can find out. :confused3

Woohoo, thanks! Thinking I'd be on a Disney cruise this year I got a costume last Halloween so I'm set :) just have to convince DH to get in the spirit. I'm hoping this year's costumes will be out before we leave so I can dress him up. Lol

Disney's "Frankenweenie" directed by Tim Burton opens in
theaters October 5, 2012.

So does that mean they will have the premiere of the movie at 12:01 am
on the 5th at the Walt Disney Theater? I hope so...

:flower3:

Thanks HG! Being a first timer it is certainly interesting seeing this. I assume that since we have the late seating for dinner we will be seeing the early shows. Are there any activities after the late seating (other than Pirate night)?

Thank you Hollywood Glitter for your helpful info...being a repeat
cruiser it has helped me out. We are seeing some friends in SF on the 2nd
and don't mind missing the comedy show if we decide to have dinner off the ship.
