Welcome LiseG and Meganyvemarie!
Looking forward to meeting you.

Looking forward to meeting you.

We're also staying at the San PedroFlying in the day before to make sure that we've got plenty of time in case of delays. I'm happy to see that others have stayed there before. Was a little concerned but i'm feeling better about it now.

OK we need to name the cruise. I bet we can come up with a great one... with a Pixar twist?? Here's an idea: To SF... and Beyond
You can put alcohol in your suitcase for your flight. Once you land you need to claim your bags and take out the bottles and carry them onto the ship with you.
Beverage Policy
Question
What is the policy regarding bringing alcoholic beverages on board?
Answer
Alcohol is permitted on board. However, any fragile items (including alcoholic beverages) must be hand-carried on board in the carry-on of an adult Guest age 21 or older (dimensions can't exceed 22" wide, 14" high and 9" deep).
Alcohol brought on board may not be consumed in any lounge or public area.
Guests who arrive in the dining room, including Palo and Remy, with a bottle of champagne or wine will be charged a corking fee of $20.00 per bottle.
Please be advised: Disney Cruise Line reserves the right to remove fragile items (including beverages) from checked luggage. In such cases, items will be stored and returned at the end of the voyage. Beverage containers are considered fragile and have previously caused damage in checked luggage. All fragile items must be transported inside carry-on luggage.

This is going to be our first cruise, me, my husband, and 6 year old son. I've been on a few cruises before with Carnival, but this is our first on Disney and we're are very excited. Are there any tips or secrets from past cruisers that you might want to share with a newbie? Thank you all for any advice!

At any rate, it will be me, my husband and our 10 yo and 7 yo daughters. We are trying to take a Disney cruise before they leave CA so it seems silly that we will be visiting our hometown of San Diego but I didn't want to end up flying and paying for a cruise too.
Yeah! Some more girls!!! My daughter is 9 and we will be cruising with her 9 year old cousin in our cabin as well. We also have a 12, 7 and 4 years old cousins (girls), AND 12 and 10 year old boy cousins on this cruise with us.
We are also from San Diego originally (go Padres!), so it is weird to have our cruise ship docking there.....but sssoooo many great things to see/do there for everyone on the ship.
Hope to meet you onboard.![]()
Agree..."To SF and Beyond" is a great name for our cruise!
