Hi my DCL Friends! So, I have some news....

It is bitter sweet to say we will be postponing this cruise trip till 2013! Our family about a month ago, submitted a video to Disney Online. There was a contest to Create your family memories from the Disney Park(s). There were 979 video submitted and ours was choses by Disney Producers as the grand prize winner! We won 5 days 7 nights, 5 day hoppers, Hotel, Airfare, a 500$ gift card and a HD Camera.

With newly announced news, We decided before we won that if we did, we would be taking this trip this week of the cruise... Here in AZ, kids have 2 weeks off the first week of OCT, so it just makes sense. I do hope you all have a great time, and we will miss getting to meet all of you.

As far as the FE list, if someone who would be willing to pick up where it was left off, that would be greatful. HUGS everyone!

Secondly - Yes, we will also miss the opportunity to meet you and your family.

Also, thank you for offering early on to take care of the FE list...appreciate it! I will go ahead and pick it up where you left off.

For anybody considering doing the Old Town Trolley Tour which is a great way of seeing the sights if you have never been before. Disney is charging $45 per adult and $25 per child

Book on line at the Old Town Trolley site and pay online price of $32.40 or $16.20 per child

The Trolley pick up is located right outside the cruise terminal so you don't have to walk far

There will be3 of us joining you on this cruise. There will be me (42), my mom (65) and my aunt (67). It will be my 3rd Disney Cruise, my mom's second and my aunts first. We are leaving our DH's and my kids at home ( my boys are mad at me ..oh well)
We originally booked it while on the Magic over New Years, but yesterday I saw that they had a special offer for Canadians. So of course I moved the original booking and made a new one.
I don't think we will participate in FE.
We are so excited. Hope to meet everyone while on board.

I can see by the post of others and yourself that people keep coming back to Disney cruises, they must really make it special since people keep returning. We are looking forward to the trip. Hi everyone,

I'm not on this cruise (I'm on the repo a couple of weeks earlier ) but I can't wait for the Wonder to come to my hometown.

I just wanted to give you guys a head's up that according to the cruise ship schedule, there will be 3 ships in San Diego the day you are here. Not sure how this will affect excursion availability, etc. But there are tons of things to do so I'm sure passengers will spead out in many different directions. It may just be busy along the embarcadero right by the port.

It will probably look something like this

That was a few days ago and it prompted news reports because it doesn't happen very often, especially since ships have started pulling out of Mexico.

Hello Everyone. My DD Mary-Grace (8) and I (Betsy) plan to join you all on this cruise. I won't book it until June while onboard our upcoming cruise out of New York to the Bahamas. We've cruised twice on the Wonder out of LA to Mexico, and don't want to miss one last chance to experience her before she leaves California. My school district just added a break during the first week of October, beginning this year, so what better way to spend it than onboard the Wonder! I'm not crazy about the itinerary, as we live only 75 miles from San Francisco and drive in fairly frequently, but we're going for that wonderful DCL experience, even if we don't leave the ship in SF. We will definitely be joining in on the FE, and look forward to getting to know you all in the coming months.
