September 29,2013 - DVC Member Cruise

Loving all these pictures!!! Thanks for the previews!!!pixiedust::wave2:

Just put in an order at Walgreens photos for some glossy prints of a few magnets for the door to start working on them. So excited that it is getting closer!! Deb and Jed

I saw that about the extra Halloween stuff. I was hoping that we get a taste of it. But I didn't want to get my hopes up. Lol!

We have not experience this before so I can't help on that. We did cruise in December once. We did b2b 4 and 3 day. It was fun seeing the gingerbread house get more done as we went during the cruises.

I just saw a thread the Webmaster John started. He was announcing the Halloween and Christmas information. Someone else posted what cruises has these. Ours was not on it. It was said because it was DVC member cruise, DVC wanted to announce stuff when we board not before. I would like to see this stuff. It would not ruin the cruise for me if we didn't have it. I would be somewhat disappointed.

Just a thought: maybe that is why there is some kind of confusion with the Pirate Party. Maybe it has to do with a Halloween event??

Guess I can put that Tink costume back in the cedar chest. :scared1:

Thanks for researching that. I read the press release and I certainly hope the DVC entertainment measures up to that. Sounds like a great idea.

LOL You're welcome.

We have plans to get tickets to the MNSSHP and I was considering not getting them with the possibility of a Halloween type of party on the Dream. I guess I'll get them now.

BTW, we go to DLR's Mickey's Halloween Party every year. It will be fun to go to both in one year.

Whats the best way to get a rental car? p/u at airport 6 days at hotel, drop off at port or park at port and drop off at airport? We really only want it for the time at WDW and the return. Considering the possibility of using DCL transfer back to airport.

IDK what we should do...

We have rented one way to and from the port. I would price the one way and then price the whole time and then add the cost of parking. My guess is it is much cheaper to rent one way. A couple of times it was cheaper for DW and I to rent one way each way then DCL bus. Car rentals has gone up since then. It is no longer that way for us. I know larger groups of 4 or more can save with towncar/van companies.

So excited! I bought my FE on eBay. Can't wait to get it. I have also started getting the FE gifts which requires me to go to Disneyland! So I'm going tomorrow! I love planning for this cruise :)

So glad the FE's are coming along and with trips to Disneyland involved! sounds great! We better get moving on ours.

btw - the 2nd adult FE is now full.

So anyone who wants to participate but hasn't signed up yet, can still do so on the main FE group. I believe they have a cut off date set for August 15.

I'm a little bummed we're excluded from the Halloween festivities. Would love to try some of the holiday menu items they're promoting. This should be a lot of fun for all of our b2b cruisers.
