We received our letter today. Now it feels real!

So excitd - we got our confirmation paperwork the other day in the mail!

I went on the Fall 2012 DVC Members cruise but unfortunately I don't have a scanner to upload my Navigators from the cruise. Hope someone else can help with this task.

We really had a great time on the last cruise - it was our first members cruise so nothing to compare it to. It was different from other cruises I've taken as I really felt busy as we packed a lot into and went to most of the special presentations. For that reason I cancelled my spa treatment which I had booked in advance - didn't know what was being offered at the time I booked it.

We've stayed at the Hyatt the last two previous cruises and believe we'll be doing that again. Haven't booked anything yet though.

JUST SO YOU KNOW EVERY YEAR IS DIFFERENT. THIS WILL BE OUR 7th MEMBER CUISE AND EACH YEAR THE GUESTS ARE DIFFERENT. EXCEPT FOR BILL FARMER AND DUCKY WILLIAMS. BILL FARMER USUALLY HAS A TALK ABOUT GOOFY, LAST YEAR HE GOT VOLUNTEERS TO HELP DO THE VOCALS TO A CARTOON WITH MICKEY AND GOOFY. THE YEAR BEFORE HE TURNED THE SOUND OFF AND VOICED THE WHOLE GOOFY CARTOON. DUCKY USUALLY HAS A DRAWING SEMINAR WHERE HE HAS A FREE RAFFLE FOR THE DRAWINGS HE DID FOR THE SEMINAR. USUALLY AROUND 20. LAST YEAR I WON A COLOR DRAWING OF DOPEY. THIS PAST YEAR THEY HAD 4 LEADING SINGERS FROM DISNEY BROADWAY SHOWS INCLUDING THE ORIGINAL MARY POPPINS. THEY PERFORMED TOGETHER ON THE LAST NIGHT. THE YEAR BEFORE THE REAL KERMIT THE FROG WAS INTERVIEWED. TIM ODAY DOES THE INTERVIEWS USUALLY. USUALLY ON ONE OF THE NIGHTS THEY HAVE AN ADVANCED SCREENING OF SOMETHING COMING UP. WE GOT TO SEE THE NEW BLUERAY VERSION OF SNOW WHITE. THEY HAD TO REDO IT BECAUSE IT WAS WASTING AWAY. THE LAST COUPLE YEARS THEY HAVE BROUGHT ON A COUPLE ARTICLES FROM THE DISNEY ARCHIVES. THE SPECIAL GUESTS ARE VERY FRIENDLY. DUCKY WILLIAMS ALWAYS IS ON WITH HIS IMMEDIATE FAMILY, THEY USUALLY SWIM IN THE ADULT POOL. I HAVE A FUNNY STORY ABOUT ME AND BILL FARMER.BUT THAT WILL TAKE ANOTHER POST, HE AND DUCKY ARE MY FAVOURITES. DUCKY DOES WHAT I ORIGINALLY WANTED TO DO AS AN OCCUPATION AND BILL FARMER VOICES THE CHARACTER THAT IM VERY PARTIAL TO.
WE ARE GLAD THEY DONT DO THE 1 HOUR DVC PUSH TO BUY MORE POINTS. WE USED TO GO TO THE POOL WHEN WE WERE SCHEDULED FOR THAT. BUT IF YOU DO BUY APROX 250 POINTS YOU DO GET BENIFITS. 5 YEARS AGO WE BOUGHT 250 MORE POINTS AND RECEIVED A FREE MEMBERS CRUISE WITH BALCONY AND $2000 OFF.
LAST YEARS CRUISE WAS AN IMPROVEMENT OVER THE YEAR BEFORE. THEY FINALLY GOT RID OF JIM LEWIS (thank god) CLAIRE SEEMS TO BE TRYING TO STRAIGHTEN OUT DVC. THE 2 CRUISES IN THE SAME YEAR WAS A BIG MISTAKE!!!!! THEY REALIZE THAT. WE ONLY HAD 2500 IN SEPT. ONE WHOLE DINING ROTATION WAS SHUT DOWN.
LAURA AND I KEEP COMING BACK BECAUSE OF THE THE GREAT DVC MEMBERS THAT CRUISE WITH US. YOU MAKE GREAT FRIENDSHIPS LIKE WE HAVE. WE HAVE SAT WITH THE SAME WONDERFUL 8 PEOPLE ALL 7 YEARS.
WELL I GUESS IF MADE THIS POST WAY TO LONG I WILL TRY TO KEEP ADDING NEW THINGS FROM PAST MEMBER CRUISES.

So, my DH gave me a bit of a scare yesterday morning.... He says "so what days do I need off for that cruise in September?" "WHAT!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME" I say, "You were supposed to schedule those way back when I first booked the cruise." " I forgot. Now what days do I need off"
He called me at noon time to let me know that he got them off. It's a good thing, or someone would have been in a LOT of trouble!!!!!

We are going on our 1st cruise. We are going on the members only cruise. I'm trying to get my ticker. I just got my fish extender and what to know how to join the fish extender group. I tried but didn't work. I'm new to this bloging thing. I could probably have my daughter do this for me. What should my dh and I expecting this trip? Lots of question. If anyone has info please let me know. Thank you.

You bet I will!! We are sailing out right now so the phone will be off until Sun but then I'll catch up and tell everyone about the awesome Jan cruise
